The pampa, filled with enigmatic lines and geoglyphs known as Nazca, gives name to this record label.

Nazca Records was created to collect the music and art that Viracochas (beings of other worlds), shared with the ancient Nazca people, known for their love for music, dance and nature. 

These recordings represent the music that was once played in another time and that will be played again in the future…They are the memories of the future.

Each vinyl and recording tells a story of the memories from each ceremony that took place in the Pampa Colorada, from music that was played, and of the figures and lines that the Nazcas used to show their gratitude to the Viracochas.

Maybe you’re wondering how its possible or how we were able to capture those recordings in Nazca Records to then press to vinyl. 
It has been discovered that if an intelligent or exotic species wanted to connect to others, they would use radio signals as they can travel any distance and require very little energy to send.
The logical wave frequency to communicate would be 1420 Megahertz, which is the frequency irradiated by the neutral hydrogen, when its atoms interact between each other. 

Based on this info and knowing that hydrogen is the most abundant element in space, and after a lot of tries, in the end we were finally able to make the first contact with the Viracochas!

What is a culto cargo? This word defines an ethnological phenomenon that happens when a technologically primitive society enters in contact with a technologically advanced society. 

This translates into a show of gratitude and admiration of one civilization for the other; in the case of Nazca, the culto cargo for the Viracochas, as a sign of gratitude, was represented by the lines, while the one of the Viracochas for the Nazca was shown through their music and art. 

This seventh chapter collects the recording that the Viracochas, used to thank the Nazca people. His culto cargo is a record, a journey, a chapter narrated through 2 remixes, the first one by the magic Viracocha Timboletti, and the second by young Viracochas Innellea.

Curating their second release on the newly established independent imprint TAU, the Adana Twins are keen to support the best up-and-coming talent from a saturated DJ/Producer market. The second release showcases yet another rising star; Paris-based, Romanian born - BOg.

BOg first broke onto the electronic music landscape after being signed to John Digweed’s ‘Bedrock Records’. 12-years down the line he’s released on Dixon’s Innervisions & Solomun’s Diynamic, BOg is a constant in the record bags of DJs across the globe. Drawing strong influences from bands and artists such as Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin or The Chemical Brothers, BOg’s ‘Terra EP’ has an evident other-worldly feel.

Innellea returns to TAU002 this time on remix duties, remixing ‘Terra’ and further cementing his position as a core artist on TAU. The B-side remix of ‘Jahar’ comes from Mathias Schober, chosen for the Adana Twins love his sound design and aesthetic, the producer delivers a remix rounding off the solid ‘Terra’ EP.

Starting this new cycle of releases on Not Another, we are glad to have one of our favorite artists on board again.

From his Red Bull Music Academy residency to gigs on Lebanons finest venues and big festivals such as Sonar Barcelona, Etyen is delivering his live act and spreading his passion across the globe, getting huge support for his music. His production style is a mix of a wide variety of influences and we never know what to expect. For his first solo EP with us, he delivered a 3 track masterpiece that goes from deep melodic to psychedelic minimal techno which are quite hard to put on any specific genre. 

For the remix duties we invited two of the industry finests. Petar Dundov (Cocoon, Systematic) delivered a melodic anthem interpretation for Bebe that has all the credentials to be a banger during this season and will please all our followers. The second remix comes from Stelios Vassiloudis (Bedrock, Poker Flat) which stripped down & Elephant in the Room' for a hypnotic clubby piece that goes heavy on your body.

All these 5 tracks are different in style and genres but they all have that artistry feeling that we seek for Not Another. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Mathame refine their singular sound on ‘Skywalking’ and a collaboration with Tale Of Us, ‘Departure’.
Following 2018’s ‘Nothing Around Us’ single, Mathame show no sign of slowing down. Their Afterlife Recordings follow up is a dancefloor single of epic proportions, taking the duo further into a realm of their own. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements. In the case of ‘Skywalking’ it reaches an uplifting, euphoric crescendo, in Tale Of Us’ intro edit of ‘Departure’ the theme goes darker and off-kilter. Bona fide anthems in the sets of Mathame and Tale Of Us.

Widely acclaimed German DJ and producer HOSH has delivered the first in a series of various artist mix compilations, 'Become One'. The first of which was curated for and showcased live at the iconic, clubbing mecca of Brazil, Warung Beach Club. Aimed at drawing the crowd, venue and performer all together forming in synergy, with an artist exploring intimate ties built with different international venues in a way that best exhibits their sound and energy. We begin by connecting HOSH from fryhide label boss with the first edition on the Atlantic Coast, The iconic Warung Beach Club in Brazil. A utopia of the dance music community known for euphoric melodic sunrises which have gifted HOSH on many several occasions during his past decade of touring. Its been almost 7 years since Ramiro Lopez had a productions released on Noir Music. Since then he has evolved a lot as an artist and producer.

We have missed him on the label and extremely happy to announce his return with the excellent 2-tracker.

People that follow me knows I have been supporting Ramiros music a lot and even his label Odd Recordings stands out as one of the best techno labels the past couple of years in my ears. I love the minimal yet hard-hitting approach coming from Ramiro and this release is a great example of that sound.

On Your Face is build around the powerful vocals done by talented Juliet Fox and once again Ramiro proves the less is more still holds up in modern techno today. The hardhitting beats and simple synth-lines compliments the vocal to perfection and makes Juliets vocals stand out in the center of the production.

‘Tongue Tied' continues ATLANT's mission to find unique and memorable vocal tracks that cross genres to provide those special club moments. ATLANT is proud to welcome aboard our good friend Edu Imbernon. A true pioneer with his originals, Edu is also a complete master at the art of remixing. From The XX's ‘Crystalised' to BOg's ‘Shila' Edu always adds new dimension and perspective. Here Edu's re-imagining harnesses the emotional vox, while adding a fresh flowing groove. Impeccably judged melodic layers hang in the air, as Edu leads you to an imperious and poignant breakdown before letting the bass wash over you. Ausberg/Munich duo Innellea have come a long way since their ATLANT debut ‘Napoleon' became a core part of sets by Tale Of Us. This led to EPs on Afterlife, Adana Twin's TAU and an Innervisions Secret Weapon. With a CV like this you just knew the guys remix was going to be killer. Innellea turn ‘Tongue Tied' into a simmering, vibrant, percussive gem as they extend the lyrics across the track. Thrashing echoed lines become ever more urgent before an addictive hook now takes over as the club waits to erupt. These Innellea guys just get better and better !

Closing out ATL026 is our very own head honcho. On receiving the raw demo BOg immediately had a personal vision for this release and just knew he had to remix ‘Tongue Tied'. With a maturity in approach BOg weaves one of his magical sonic journeys, at first teasing with a solitary repeated arp as the unique vocal takes centre stage before adding deep bass pules and elegant layers. The track builds almost subconsciously, drawing the listener in deeper, entrancing you with the purest of melodies before gently ebbing away as the beats ride out ... making you lost for words.
