𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒆: Solma - Reset (Terra Firma) [OS06]

We are glad to present the debut LP album from an artist within the Organic Signs family: Solma. One year ago, the French artist planted the seed of this sonic journey with his set at The Memoir by Hypnus Records. Now, that seed has fully blossomed, unveiling a collection of new creations. Eight tracks that define his sonic universe, where DnB, halftime, and tribe intertwine in an atmosphere of hypnotic textures and pulsating synths.

The journey begins with Wetlands, drawing us into a mist-laden landscape where solitary birds glide through the sky and the dense humidity clings to every breath. In the dim light, a deep, enveloping sound spreads through the air, merging with electrified gusts of wind. As we move forward, distant echoes of other life forms emerge, thriving in the space between water and earth.

The first heartbeats stir in Mud. Continuing the path set by its predecessor while subtly layering new elements, the track immerses us in mystical soundscapes, unlocking portals to uncharted dimensions. Percussive fragments, scattered across the stereo field, begin to surface tentatively, paving the way for Clay, where the hypnotic progression deepens.

With Spores, the rhythm evolves into 4x4, maintaining the ethereal essence that has permeated the album from the start. Percussion elements phase in and out, leading seamlessly into Trimitic, a stripped-down yet profound exploration of minimalist Tribe.

The album builds in intensity, reaching its peak with Fungal Network, an electrifying burst of energy crafted to set the dancefloor ablaze. Then, The Consciousness of Plants slows the pace once more, introducing a whispering voice and a synth that oscillates fluidly, pulling us into its meditative sway.

The journey culminates with Reset, where the tempo eases, and the narrative comes full circle. The echoes of birds return, this time illuminated by the clarity of a new dawn. With Liquid DnB rhythms and textures, Solma concludes his debut album with a farewell that lingers in the mind, resonating long after the final note fades.

On the latest instalment of his VALA series, Finnish techno explorer Kaspiann tunnels into heads-down, mind-warping rhythm tracks of the highest order. Alongside his appearance on respected platforms such as Delsin Mantis and Optic Portal (alongside Spekki Webu), VALA affords Kaspiann the space to explore the depth and breadth of his sound with steely focus. The four tracks on VALA 4 are teeming with tactile textures and intricate detail that feel familiar and abstract all at once, perhaps best described by the titles that indulge in a little Finnish word play. 'Sammalkämmen', literally translated as 'moss palm', feels like a fitting reflection of the spongy mid-range matter on the opening track, while the humid, dense atmosphere of B1 cut 'Suohunaja' could indeed conjure a sense of 'swamp honey'. From 'Sienikieli's tunnelling rhythmic intrigue to the intricately arranged, expressive percussion of 'Niin Vain', Kaspiann continues to broaden his vocabulary within the language of deep techno, triggering ineffable sensations from carefully sculpted sonic forms and strapping them to incisive rhythms.

This 8-track album delves into a deeply organic sonic journey, blending together tribal influences, hypnotic sound design, spacial atmoshperes and mesmerising rhythms to craft a rich tapestry of styles and subtle ambiences. 
Each track emerges like a ritual : immersive, textured, and timeless.

The fifth release of e s p e r p e n t o represents a new stage in the journey of rediscovering the past of the flourishing experimental music scene in the Venetian area.
10 musical projects have been involved in the reinterpretation of the audio material taken from the tape release Curved Bell Mirrors, recorded by the Treviso-based producer Therabaqud Leic and originally issued on his own label, Ministry of Ultramarine Theatres in 1988.

Surrealist echoes, distorted reflections, and natural textures come alive in both music and images, enclosed in a limited-edition photographic fanzine. The fanzine also offers access to a restored version of Therabaqud Leic’s original work, completing an audiovisual journey that expands the boundaries of a medium as it has traditionally been conceived.

All tracks on this various artists compilation are reinterpretations of Therabaqud Leic - Curved Bells Mirrors (Ministry Of Ultramarine Theatres - M.U.T. 01 1988)
