For their inaugural release, London-based Vysyon presents Mercuri: an enchanting EP of enigmatic techno featuring work by Swiss artists Varuna & Mateo Hurtado.

Having developed their brand of abyssal club music through releases on Amenthia Recordings & their own imprint A Walking Contradiction, Varuna dive into the void on ‘Remote Pulsar’. Driven by a disorientating polyrhythm cloaked in opaque atmospherics, the trio’s otherworldly approach to sound design is on full display. By contrast, the pounding 4/4 kick & propulsive acid bass of ‘Uvez Echos’ entrance the listener into a state of dancefloor reverie.

Mateo Hurtado casts his own unique magic over the flip, showcasing his archetypal mystic sound established via an album on Annulled music & remixes for Space Drum Meditation. The mesmerising flute melody of ‘An Invisible Fire, Working In Secret’ casts a spell of hypnosis, while the flowing, amorphous pads & twisted bass of ‘The Eternal Mirror’ conjure visions of worlds unknown.

Haumea has emerged as a true up and coming artist delivering new sounds of experimental organic and hypnotic techno as well as ambient soundscapes. At the core of Haumea’s musical philosophy lies a deep reverence for nature and its intricate rhythms. Art pieces, and animation sound design are also amongst the many other things that inspire Haumea's musical process. He believes that the inherent connection between humanity and the natural world can be translated into evocative soundscapes that resonate with listeners on a profound level. By seamlessly blending organic elements with hypnotic rhythms, Haumea crafts immersive sonic narratives that transport audiences to different realms.

As mushrooms emerge after rainfall in sacred silence, this project honors those unseen forces that guide growth, transformation, and unity. Think of it as a ceremonial gathering through sound — a return to the dancefloor as one tribe, guided by rhythm, pulse, and deep organic textures.

This compilation gathers artists from Europe, Australia, and India exploring different techno territories. From slow-paced breakbeats to more functional 4-to-the-floor cuts, each track shares organic aesthetic and tribal energy.
