St. Mary Queen of Martyrs is that quaint orphanage right  by the hill top of  Flensburg, Germany where Chris De Vil grew up with other boys like him. They became his family, right after a car accident that left him an orphan at age 5. Mysteriously everyone in the car, including the gas stop hotel and a dozen people was burned to dust, except for him, he was sent to the hospital with not a single scratch, except for his eyes, his pupils have changed. He see things at night. one of the nurses of St. Mary gave Chris a sunglasses to hide the deformity from the other boys who would bully him for it. His eyes have no color, it is pure white, he looks blind to all the priests, nuns, nurses, staff and other orphans, except for Chris' visitors, who doesn't see him the way the people see Chris in the hill top of Flensburg. He has visitors every night and every night they are different, he can speak to all of them but they all told him to "Shhhhhh!' Keep them a secret. For some of the visitors who can speak, they say they are just trying to hide from something that might have visited Chris too some years ago, but Chris although afraid of most of them always kept his promises and everyday they visit they take something from him. Chris wrote all their names under the floor boards and even drew them so he will never forget their faces. When his brain hurts, his nose bleed and his tongue is a bit warm and his throath reminds him how warm the Mustang that was scorched and the gas stop that night. His father, his mother and all his brothers sometimes visits him too. The De Vils have a past and all their boys where raised to keep a secret. There is one particular visitor that Chris was looking forward to every Christmas eve, he calls him "the one who opens all the doors."
