"Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)" (ou apenas "Against All Odds") é uma canção originalmente gravada pelo cantor Phil Collins em 1983. A música é o tema principal da trilha sonora do filme homônimo ("Against All Odds"), de 1984.
Posteriormente foi regravada por Mariah Carey para o álbum Rainbow, de 1999. Há também uma versão com o grupo Westlife, que foi gravada em outro tom que combinasse com a voz de Mariah e ao mesmo tempo com os membros do grupo. Existem também versões da canção que contam apenas com os vocais de Mariah e com os vocais tanto dela quanto de Phil Collins. A cantora francesa Dalida, também gravou uma versão da música, em francês, intitulada "Toutes Ces Heures Loin De Toi", em 1984.

"Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)" (or just "Against All Odds") is a song originally recorded by singer Phil Collins in 1983. Music is the main theme of the soundtrack of the eponymous film ("Against All Odds"), 1984.
Subsequently been covered by Mariah Carey for the album Rainbow, 1999. There is also a version with the group Westlife, which was recorded on another tone that matched the voice of Mariah and at the same time with the group members. There are also versions of the song can only count on Mariah's vocals and the vocals as much of it as Phil Collins. The French singer Dalida, also recorded a version of the song, in French, titled "Toutes Ces Heures Loin De Toi" in 1984.

A collaboration with a music friend Encym (Roland)  Roland is one of the very few music friends I have had the pleasure of meeting face to face  (at a Tuesday Post gig hosted by the wonderful Georgina Brett). He is leaving London to return to his home city of Munich and the track is developed from some excellent samples that he sent me. These have been  radically developed/played in the app SpaceCraft and using an app version of a  reverb unit - RX950 (I used the physical version of this  on one my first ever tunes about 30 years ago). Warmth - Aligned

As I'd set up the loop and started recording (using the Dark Star, Mood, and Avalanche Run mostly), I left the studio to get a phone call. When I came back it was still playing with those lovely textures having changed and continuing to change ever so slightly. So I left it running and the result is this track.
