Brian's debut EP for microCastle is entitled 'Jukebox' and it comes with three brand new original productions alongside remixes from King Unique and Tom Middleton.

Brian's swift rise through the electronic underground has already earned him a rabid following of fans hungry for new material. The US producers dark and mysterious production hallmarks are much loved and the lead track on the EP 'Sharp Objects' showcases those very well. Backed by a powerful groove the tracks mystical textures, haunting vocal stabs and gaseous atmospheres set the stage perfectly for a twisted metallic lead. Developing mightily over a tension filled main break the luminous hooks soon summon the beats back for what is sure to be an electric dance floor moment.

The lone remix of 'Sharp Objects' is provided by microCastle label artist King Unique who is making his 5th appearance on the much revered Canadian imprint. Formed in 2001 the King Unique production touch has appeared on more than fifty remixes and has yielded some of the biggest dance floor bombs known to man, most notably: Dirty Vegas' "Walk Into The Sun", Underworld's "Two Months Off" and The Killers "Somebody Told Me". It's been another stellar year for King Unique with original productions for Bedrock and microCastle along with a remix for one of 2014's most poignant electronic music creations, 'Candyland' by Guy J. For his 'Sharp Objects' interpretation Matt has masterfully reworked the track into an acid fueled epic. Rough beats, gritty textures and liquid-like 303s all combine for what results in one of this year's most timeless dance floor weapons.

The second selection 'Caona' showcases a more tech house inspired side of Brian's studio arsenal. A foundation of rippling bass tones and detailed analog rhythms combine with dusty harmonies, treated pianos and vintage instrumentation for a truly unique creation.

The third selection on the EP and also its title and showcase piece 'Jukebox' is next and finds Brian veering into deep house territory. The US producers rich bassy textures and aquatic design have created a wonderful sonic fusion here. The records warm momentum is met with an alluring three chord lead which becomes increasing poignant as the track reaches its tasteful peak.

Remixing 'Jukebox' and closing the release out is Tom Middleton who is making his first appearance on microCastle. The UK born but now Italy based producer has been responsible for some of electronic music's biggest records over the least two decades. Written under Tom's much loved Cosmos alias, 'Take Me With You' is perhaps the most notable but an impressive remix discography that includes Orbital 'Halcyon', Kylie Minogue 'Chocolate', Underworld 'Jumbo', Jamiroquai 'You Give Me Something' and Kerri Chandler 'Bar A Thym' have all stood the test of time incredibly well. Tom's remix productions are always met with immense dance floor success and his unmistakable club grooves have melded well with the 'Jukebox' theme. Highlighted by a blissful main break and tasteful re-entry Tom's main mix is sure to be a delight with both house and progressive DJs. The deep dub finds Tom moving closer to his famed 'Liquitech' territory with smooth hypnotic rhythms and vibrant lead stabs heading the charge.

Another hugely anticipated release on microCastle which marks the debut of a future star in Brian Cid.

Iran born, UK based techno talent Habischman strides into 2021 with a superb new EP on Eklektisch. It features two more tracks of his masterfully melodic, storytelling tracks that effortlessly transport you to another world.

Red Bull Music Academy graduate Habischman has released his lush, stylish and atmospheric techno on labels like Knee Deep In Sound, Moda Black, and SCI+TEC. High-profile support has come from Artbat, Tale of Us, Nicole Moudaber, and BBC Radio 1, and now he continues to hone his craft with ever more devastating melodies, lasting emotions, and the sort of widescreen, adventurous deep techno grooves that leave you in awe. A real love of space always means his tracks have a grand sense of scale and dramatic arrangements which, in normal times, he also manages to translate into his immersive live shows.

The deeply emotive 'Senses' opens up and shows the artist's knack for crafting catchy but classy melodies. Here, he layers them over a sleek techno groove that journeys to the stars and eventually meets a second bright and soulful melody line. Once they come together, they begin to sing in harmony and send shivers tingling down your spine as the supple beats roll on. Then comes the gorgeous 'Freefall', which is about an angel who falls in love with someone and both have to leave their own worlds in order to be together. It's a richly detailed and cinematic techno offering that captures a real sense of love- struck longing. The angelic vocals are spellbinding as the beats build and the serene chords wash over you time and time again to teary-eyed effect.

This is a pair of truly artful techno tracks that make an indelible impression.

Brian Cid returns to his Endangered imprint with the Bluiris EP; 4 melodic techno & progressive tracks of his signature dark and hypnotic beats.

After the last year that’s seen much of the world come to a halt, Brian Cid’s production output continued on strong throughout. He released EP’s on Lost & Found, Balance and Endangered, as well as remixes and singles on labels like Flying Circus, Oddity, Einmusik and Eklektisch. For his first full EP of 2021, Brian is back on Endangered with Bluiris; 4 original tracks that take the listener on a captivating trip when consumed in sequence.

“ION” starts things off with a cinematic intro, and a sense of anticipation bubbles throughout the track signifying the start of a journey. Curiosity is piqued with the atmospheric pads and subtle synth stabs, and a trippy, sensory overload is reached at the apex. The vibe is switched up with a tribal rhythm and shuffling groove for “Ordeal”. Drum hits come from every angle, and arpeggiated synths jump back and forth which creates a wave of emotions as the listener is now pulled forward without resistance.

Full energy and power are reached on the title track “Bluiris”. The most progressive and hypnotic track on the EP, this one is classic Brian Cid dark vibes & energy. The journey concludes with the final track “Flares”. Euphoria is reached once the drop occurs, and the listener is left in a relaxed and meditative state at the conclusion of this trip.

Brian describes the concept behind the music:

PREMIERE: Brian Cid - Bluiris (Original Mix) [Endangered]

Born in bear country on the Atnarko River in Northern Canada, Atnarko channels his inner bear as he deejays and produces hypnotic dance music straight from the heart of the beast. Atnarko is considered a legend of the underground house music scene in the south. He is known for his DJ sets that extend into the wee hours of the morning, taking adventurous partygoers deep into his musical den.

He also produced some of the early breaks records that defined the genre as it was emerging. These include the classic, “Tunnel Vision,” cited as an early influence by Maceo Plex, among others. As his career developed, he went on to produce many records and moved into other genres, most notably house and techno. With close to 200 releases appearing on a wide variety of labels, Atnarko’s paw prints are firmly planted in dance music.

His label, Infiltr8:Celebr8, continues to set the pace for underground events in Orlando, booking dance music friends and heroes with great success, expanding, and elevating the city’s culture. He continues to walk this path, playing and producing music he loves, regardless of boundaries. Atnarko has told his musical story far and wide over his long career and he would love to tell it to you.
