Brian Reith (pronounced "RYE-TH") is a multi-genre songwriter, artist and producer based out of Nashville, TN. With influences ranging from Stevie Wonder to John Mayer to Lauryn Hill, Brian comes from a unique place that combines classic soul and catchy pop with a hint of hip hop.

After a decade of releasing music as B.Reith and touring with artists ranging from Toby Mac to PJ Morton, Brian decided to drop the veil and change his artist name to his given name. "I want to be the fullest, most transparent version of myself. I don't want to hide behind anything."

The Alternative Takeover is my gift to you. It's the voice of an underground movement. It's a music revolution that once you discover, you'll never be the same. It's the feeling you get when walking into an air-conditioned home a
fter melting outside in 105 degree heat...refreshing. Should I go on?

Many of you feel the way I do. You hardly ever listen to the radio anymore because the music you find is either putting you to sleep or focusing on "getting your drank on". You're sick of always hitting the scan button, hoping to find a decent song, and by the time it's done you realize that you're out of luck. This is where I come in.

The ATO is my creation. I've felt just as you have. Why can't radio shows play music I actually want to listen to with a positive message?! I was getting so fed up, I decided to tack some action...some rather rash action. The studios at Kheart (located in Minot, ND) are vacant on Saturday nights. I couldn't take it anymore! I felt God pushing me on, like on a holy mission, to bring a new style of Christian music to the airwaves. Thus, the Alternative Takeover was born. From 10pm - Midnight (CST) on 106.9FM every Saturday night I do a little rewiring, I override the system, and I play the music you and I have been craving. Music from artists like:
