a good cook knows what he has to use from how much to serve you a dish with different layers of different spices.
one kind of fruit consists of ever denser layers to protect its core from enemies.
some people do not let themselves be bound by social layers.
some artists try to understand all the layers of art and in doing so they run out.

you just have to understand that everyone feels a different layer of taste and that not everyone has to be the same.

Devotee to Soundscape Ecology and music researcher, Atoloi is the main project of the Mi- lan-based Matteo Ghiringhelli (1997), which explores sound through a mellow amalgam of layers of echoing synths, processed field recordings, and self-created samples; all mixed in a lysergic experience of heavy-grained noises and evocative instrumental compositions.

Not sticking only to club-oriented sonorities, instead, his productions and mixes search for other depths, in which the listener can get lost in a dense "no boundaries" journey between the worlds of dance and meditation.

In a career path alternating dance-focused releases and more intimate ambient/field recording explorations, his music space fluidly through variegated environments such as sweaty clubs or festivals and musicology-related performances in museums or deep listening dedicated spaces.
