Look Mom I'm An Elephant

Lorenzi is a Paris-based trance and ambient producer known for creating rich sonic atmospheres that are both playful and melancholic. His latest record, “Season of Changes” (out now via @mizuha-cc), explores the deconstruction of trance music, showcasing a newfound maturity and clarity in his sound. Detuned synths, powerful melodies, and intricate arrangements dance together – enveloping the listener in a cascade of emotion.

“Put your poems in me”

Who is Mio? Nobody knows, and the server is exhausted from emotional labor following a serial catfishing incident. What began as a playful online exchange has been blown out of proportion - in response to Mio’s cooing, Ville Wannabe has in turn catfished five musicians to celebrate fleeting moments and unexpected connections.

“O Mio” is a ballad imagined through the lens of five producers operating on a spectrum of wavelengths, accompanied by “Throwing moves while falling into void”, a vocal trance duet that is serene yet packed with excitement. Scrolling from Helsinki via Tokyo to Kolkata and back, Ville Wannabe wants to act as something of a bridge between online and local communities, using melodic and suspenseful post-trance music as a shared language.
