It is Sunday the 18th of October 2015 and we welcome back Grieche from Witten, Germany !!! 
Grieche , born 1988 in Witten, Germany, with greek roots, started getting into electronic music at the age of 16. In 2004 he did his first steps in producing with his friend Minirock, using programs like Reason and Cubase. Unfortunately, in 2005, that journey into the deep world of producing stopped. Four long years passed by, but Christians love to electronic beats never disappeared..In december 2009, he found the way back, using Virtual Dj, to do his own dj-sets. He soon noticed that VDj can't meet his requirements and switched to Traktor. One year later he saw the Native Instruments Maschine in a timewarp video. He was flashed by the opportunities,working with Maschine and that was the final step into professional producing. It was his good friend F.E., who led him from Tech House to Minimal Techno. F.E. and, Aiho, an other producer and friend, showed him some things in producing and now Christian is an hot Minimal Techno artist.

Q: You are into the music business for a very long time yet. Where did you always have the best partys?

A: I think it’s in Bulgaria where the crowd is specially amazing but there’s so much awesome places, I spent really great moments also in Germany, France, Australia, Ecuador or Mexico…

Q: What is a typical “hot spot” for electronic music in France outside of Paris?
A: MONTPELLIER !!!! 

Q: Which Citizen Kain releases are coming up this year?

A: There’s a new edit of my oldest hit «Doppelgänger» that will be released on Trapez Ltd. I also signed my title «Low Blow» (already played by Maceo Plex) on Blufin, another EP called «Peaches» will be released on my own imprint Neverending Rec. with great remixers, I’m also currently remixing Simina Grigoriu and I also made a fantastic partnership with my old friends Kiko, it’s not yet signed but it’s also already turning in the Maceo Plex sets. There’s also numerous unsigned tracks in the pipeline but I currently can’t tell anything about them  … just stay tuned :)

Hours seeks input from a broad range of music to inspire his own twisted and progressive creations. His unique style and taste range across groovy ambient sounds, house tunes right into heavy techno. Still, the biggest impact on his vision for electronic music was the hell hole called Club Prag on the outskirts of the German city Stuttgart, where he started clubbing in his late teens, started DJing in 2009 and and is now known as the infamous “Lehmann Club”, located at the heart of South German Motor City, where he has been a resident since 2010.

Releasing hardcore punk records back in 2010 and 2011, the German producer looked forward to expand his musical horizon and started HOURS in 2012, a project dedicated to atmospheric electronic music with plenty of raw textures and grooves. Throughout this time he produced, mixed and mastered countless underground records for various German bands and artists, ranging from Hip-Hop to Death Metal.

After refining his sound for over two years, he finally released his debut on Driving Forces Recordings and followed it up with an EP for London based 2651 Records and a VA for AFFIN in 2014. Besides releasing a driving two-tracker on Pierre Deutschmanns XLR1507 he started his own imprint CONCEPTS OF TIME in may 2015. Asked if this broad in- and output of such diverse musical influence could have any adverse effects on his own material, his usual answer will be: “I don’t think so. For me, it’s just music. There is a time and place for anything. If I showed you the parallels between a great techno tune and a really underground sludge metal record, you’d be more than surprised…“
