🇫🇷 Maelita n'en est pas à son premier coup d'essai musical puisque c'est à 7 ans qu'elle commence la musique en tant que pianiste.
Une dizaine d'années plus tard, c'est derrière les platines qu'on la retrouve avec la volonté de casser les genres en proposant des sets toujours variés et éclectiques. Un seul but, déconstruire les idéaux afin de partager son amour de la musique.
Elle fait ses armes dans des endroits comme l'ampérage et la belle électrique à Grenoble aux côtés d'artistes comme Lena Willikens et 0ptimo. 
C'est désormais à Lyon qu'elle opère, ville qui l'inspire par ses multiples influences. Elle a rejoint depuis peu l'écurie Everybody Trance où elle peut manifester son style musical qui oscille entre break trance ou encore acid.

🇬🇧 Maelita isn’t new to the scene; she started playing music at 7 as a pianist. Years later, she now operates behind the decks, with a will to break from conventions by putting together versatile and unexpected sets. Her main goal is to deconstruct common ideals through her love for music.
She started out in places like l’Ampérage and the Belle Electrique in Grenoble alongside artists such as Lena Wilikens or Optimo. She’s now based in Lyon, a bustling city that inspires her. 
She’s now with the Everybody Trance crew, with which she can express her style as freely as possible, oscillating between breaks, trance and even acid.

Diese erste Perle von @santiago-jovit habe ich beim Draußen-Rauchen im Schaufenster von @sleeveplusplus entdeckt. Das Cover hat mich geschickt und deswegen wollte ich mal reinhören. Nur Track A2 hat mich komplett abgeholt. Trotzdem habe ich mich erst beim zweiten Sleeve-Besuch durchringen können sie mitzunehmen, weil ich mit meinem Kumpel von @peter_sniffin zusammen reingehört hab. Wir waren uns einig. Der perfekte letzte Track, den ich euch aber zur Feier des Anlasses als erstes kredenzen möchte. Obacht: abruptes Ende

Nr. 2 von @binarydigit wollte ich schon lange Mal in ein Set einbringen aber habe es dann immer gelassen, weil die Stimmung so unstimmig zu den anderen Platten erschien aber in sich ist sie ultra stimmig und schön melancholisch, idm-ish, sphärisch und mit Happy End. So hab ichs gern.
Gerade ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Platte eigentlich auf 45 läuft und ich sie immer auf 33 höre XD

Mein neuer Kumpel von Self Lerning System @friedrich_ernst  hat mir zu unserem Kennenlernen im @vary_leipzig seine erste verlegte Platte geschenkt. Das lädt das Teil natürlich mit Extrabedeutung auf. Deshalb auch an dieser Stelle herzlichen Glückwunsch zu eurem „Alt-Herren-Electro“-Debut 😉 Euer Ansatz zum autodidaktischen Produzieren elektronischer Musik hat mich begeistert.

Translucid aus Leipzig gründete vor eineinhalb Jahren auch ein Label und hateinen einmaligen Kickstart hingelegt. Sehr experimentell. Ganz unterschiedliche Geschwindigkeiten und Genres, blaues Vinyl und ein tolles Cover. Normalerweise spiele ich den Arecibo, aber hier kann ich ja mal diesen Banger hier präsentieren: Tidentity

London based producer, Morse Audio co-founder and Origins Sound resident Primrose readies five cuts of green coloured robotics and underwater-pop on Situ Records with the Highways and Treetops EP. 

Channelling the worlds of dream-pop, house, funk and techno, Primrose has carefully crafted an aesthetic that he calls ‘Blade Runner Techno’; honing in on cinematic experiences and blending them with deep rhythmic patterns and emotional otherworldliness. 

‘Impossible Summer’ is a chugging cut of atmospheric brain-dance; a wiggling sequence of uplifiting contemporary club, delivered in Primrose’s fresh and distinctive aesthetic, that blurs the lines between introspective home listening and front left.

The EPs title track is a psychedelic trip through the treetop highway. Mushrooms, woodland creatures and colourful flora & fauna appear in the clouds as the walls begin to breathe; angelic analog at its finest.  ‘QTPi’ channels synth-pop influence and combines it with glassy clinks and warm atmospherics on a tropical-trip through the multiverse. 

‘Mourning Song’ takes the EP on a left-leaning route – experimental patterns, brooding bass and glitching electronics threatening to spill onto the floor – before ‘I Tried To’ stays on the exploratory route with something of a shimmering cut of future ambience.
