Based in Hamburg, Doctor Dru hits up a remix of Sailor & I x Eekkoo, receiving strong support from Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Adriatique, Solomun, Jon Monkmon, Nick Warren, and many more.

Alongside his multi-layered history DJing, Doctor Dru works as a drummer, runs his own label, collaborates with other acts such as Adana Twins, and of course, produces his own emotive, wistful signature tracks – such as his release off Exploited’s ‘Black Jukebox 03’ compilation. He’s hit up other remixes on OFF, JEUDI Records and Stil vor Talent, and followed those up with his “Proper Lane” EP and a timeless remix of Claptone’s huge hit “No Eyes”.

In terms of performances, he has appeared at Brazil’s Warung, Destino and Ushuaia (Ibiza), Watergate (Berlin), Revolver Club (Melbourne), Loveland Festival (Amsterdam) and a many more. While being busy with touring and tune tinkering, Dru also cultivated his own label JEUDI Records, which was founded with his mates Davidé and Takeiteasy. Based on a tightly-knit family ethos Jeudi Records gives Doctor Dru a platform where he is able to truly express his love of music and to A&R new talent from around the globe.

The 'Letters' remix package drops on Big Beat August 5th and will also tap Kidnap Kid, NTFO and Jeremy Olander for additional remixes.

Andrea Ljekaj and Diyala team up to bring us a filthy little track called 'The Unsaid' to Berlin based label Save Us. The title track starts off deep and moody, filtered percussion, before slammin' in with a groovy techie swaggering vibe, as the vocal lands, creating a tasty initial intense moment of coolness. The vocal itself is a twisted trippy harmonised vocal, using a double tracking, creating depth and a fierceness, backed by moody growls as the automation meanders. Sophisticated and solid stuff for sure! 'Silent Change' is next up, and a is mysterious and rather profound slab of melancholic electronica tinged techno. A bubbling bassline and pitched spoken vocals create an enigmatic soundscape, resulting where moodiness with a glimmer of light proceeds. If you prefer vocal free tracks, there's also an instrumental of The Unsaid included here too!

Fallen Angel is an expression of emotions such as sadness, grief and rage.
