Bass Culture Players ft. Prento - No Time

Back-A-Yard label, settled in Madrid (Spain), proudly releases a new single, after We are a Crowd (November 2013). This new work called No Time claims about adversity and insecurity, in a righteous and sober mood.

Puppashan´s production recreates a narrow space built by self consciousness. Bright sintes arise from its clear atmosphere, which becomes the perfect mean to connect with the lyrics and vocals from the debutant Prento.

Nevertheless, it´s difficult to elude the collective perspective that No Time brings. Line by line, the message contained in the lyrics flows inside out.

Bass Culture Players display their accuracy and capacity in generating several and different textures. Puppashan mixes the dub version too, in a completely instrumental track which manages to dig deeply in the message without using the vocals. As a result, this is a brilliant revival of the digital sound from the 80´s.

In short, Back-A-Yard and Disco Inferno appear for the first time this year taking a right step. Sometimes a negation brings us the right way.

Raggamuffin - Digital Murda Riddim

Dans ce projet aux influences  rub'a'dub, le duo Daddy Cookiz et Stoneman se veulent renouer les racines du raggamuffin avec une pointe de reggae digital. Cet album est aussi marqué par une collaboration avec le jamaïcain P.Nyne, jeune prodige de la scène new roots, sur le morceau : "Nous c'est Rub'a'Dub"
Pour un retour plus roots, il est aussi coloré par la présence de la section cuivres des vétérans Belges "Asham Band". Saxophone et trompette accompagnent donc quelques morceaux rythmés d'un bon skank teinté de mélodica et bien d'autres surprises concoctées par le groupe.
L'album ras Attack c'est aussi un album entièrement dédié à leur univers rasta, qui est accompagné d'une B.D. ambiancée par l'histoire du groupe et illustré par les 2 chanteurs.

Le Dawood Sound System, actuellement basé en Indre est composé de 4 potes ayant entamé leur aventure commune il y a plus de 3 ans. 

Le projet a débuté avec très peu d'enceintes, mais dès le départ, ils avaient à coeur de partager leurs propres productions durant les soirées qu'ils organisaient, accompagnés de leur chanteur, Mc Mondoshawan, également producteur. Dawood, de par le dynamisme et la motivation de ses troupes a su attirer tout types d'individus dans leur univers autour de la musique dub mais pas seulement. Leurs événements sont ouverts à d'autres styles et cultures, rassemblant un public toujours plus large, amateurs de bonnes musiques.
 Leur Sound System a beaucoup évolué et ils possèdent aujourd'hui 4 scoops. Ils se baladent avec celui ci tant en ville que dans les campagnes profondes pour diffuser leur musique et leur énergie. 
Ils sont influencés par de nombreux styles de musique, allant du reggae, du roots, au stepper Uk et français, ainsi que par le hip hop, la musique électronique, les musiques traditionnelles d'ici et d'ailleurs dont ils s'inspirent pour leurs productions.
Soutenu par d'autres sound system locaux avec qui ils ont régulièrement partagé la scène, 

Dawood Sound sortent leur premier EP, accompagné des remixs de plusieurs dubmakers !

The Dawood Sound System, currently based in Indre (France) is composed of 4 friends who started their common adventure more than 3 years ago.

The project began with very few speakers, but from the start, they wanted to share their own productions during the dances they organized, accompanied by their singer, Mc Mondoshawan, also producer. Dawood, thank's the dynamism and motivation of his troops, has attracted all kind of people in their world, around dub music but not only. Their events are open to other styles and cultures, bringing together an ever wider audience, lovers of good music.

Their Sound System has evolved a lot and they now own 4 scoops. They travel with this one both in town and in the deep countryside to spread their music and energy.
They are influenced by many styles of music, from reggae and roots to UK and French stepper, as well as hip hop, electronic music, traditional music from here and there, which they use as inspiration for their productions.

Supported by other local sound systems with which they regularly share the stage, Dawood Sound released their first EP, Da First Sample, accompanied by remixes of several dubmakers!

ATOMIC SPLIFF, est un groupe Belge Liégeois dont les influences sont très diversifiées, allant d'un reggae très Roots à un style plus Raggamuffin, Dancehall ou Rub a Dub, ils incarnent la nouvelle génération reggae. Elus "Révélation reggae 2016", cette ces 2 dernières années ils ont assuré des premières parties telles que Dj Vadim, Mad Professor, Macka B, Solo Banton, et ont été programmé sur des scènes comme le ROTOTOM festival (SPN) , en France, en Allemagne, en  Holland, en Flandres et dans des festivals comme Dour, les Ardentes, Esperanzah du côté Belge...
Acrobaties flowistiques et mélodies imparables, leur message se veut propagande d’humour et de bonne humeur tout en contestant certains travers de notre monde. Un son authentique, des ondes qui cartonnent et une énergie contagieuse.
