Stop, pause that thought, breathe and focus on today it is ALL we have - moment by moment. If today's ain't so hot - don't worry, it's only temporary. Think of your life as an hourglass. You know there are thousands of grains of sand in the top of the hourglass; and they all pass slowly and evenly through the narrow neck in the middle. Nothing you or I could do would make more than one grain of sand pass through this narrow neck without impairing the hourglass. You and I and everyone else are like this hourglass...if we do not take (tasks) one at a time and let them pass...slowly and evenly, then we are bound to break our own... fragile structure. Hi, I'm Dj Eli G. My early musical influences began when I played with my father's vinyl collection, listening to his 70's and 80's rock and disco tracks. As a kid, I loved Men At Work, The Police, Eurythmics, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Black Box, Quadrophonia, Technotronic, SNAP, to name a few. I was an active member of the rave scene in the early 90's, listening to rave tracks, old-skool house, breaks, jungle and some of the first trance ever produced. What an amazing time for electronic music this was!🎶
Over the years, further musical influences came in the from labels, DJs and producers such as Harthouse and Eye Q Records and Oliver Leib, Zero Tolerance Recordings, Felix Da Housecat, Carl Cox, BT, Hooj Choons, Lee Burridge, Quivver, Sasha and John Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Platypus Records, Fluid Records, Bedrock and so, so many more amazing artists and labels.
Currently, I broadcast a weekly, live radio show called 'Natural Progression', which streams live on Wicked Beats Radio every Saturday 1am-5am (UK time). While I feature a wide variety of music on the show, progressive house and trance, melodic and deep house and progressive breaks are a major focus. Depending on where i'm playing, I also love mixing progressive psytrance, goa, deep, driving and hypnotic trance and melodic and uplifitng grooves.
