Berlin outfit Mjutah return to the game with an EP so rich with ethereal ambience that it would only seem suitable to be titled, ʻNebulaʼ. After the acclaim of their debut release ʻHorizonʼ earlier this year, Mjutah are stronger and more prepared than ever as they once again team up with Concorde Club Recordings.

Title track ʻNebulaʼ creates the space from which the EP unfurls and resonates into life. Gathering with purpose and drive, 'Nebula' merges distant percussion as it breaks off the beat and collides with sweeping synths.

The alluring vocals of ʻSolarisʼ are the real standout feature of this engaging journey. Utterly tempting, the track is lead by strong piano chords that scatter and reverberate across a punchy bassline.

Following up is ʻOrbitʼ, a deep moving track with much to give within its depth. Aery vocal samples come and go as if they were picked up and carried by gusts of wind. Rushing synths flirt with guitar lines that become more prevalent as the track builds.

Sealing the deal is the endearing closing track ʻMoonlightʼ. Rich and engaging vocals once again make a return as they help cradle this delicately balanced fusion of pulsing synths and quirky padwork.

The idea for Fine Day was to use a sample from this 1983 record 'Jane - It's A Fine Day' and combine it with new elements to create a fresh production. When I heard Don was enthusiastic about the track, it felt like my birthday and Christmas fell on the same day! Releasing 'Fine Day' on Hexagon getting support from Don means a lot to me. AnimalZOO is a side project of one of our favourite dance hippies, Lanny May. Lanny has been working on some interesting things throughout his musical career. He releases music as Lanny May, is running his own Maripoza label, recently released an album with his band The Hypnotic Lights and makes name as a DJ. Today, he drops an EP as AnimalZOO with us.

'All Together is an adventurous, handcrafted EP that's crossing many electronic genres. All tracks have a specific Lanny May sound, although this release seems more daring, experimental, or just showing his versatility as a producer. All tracks and the EP as a whole tell a story. Is it about the love for music, girls, or just about stuff like you and me being together and having a good time. Together with the release comes a jazzy Applescal remix of the track 'Flower Setup'.

Another fantastic EP on Enormous Deep from swiss based NORA EN PURE who returns to her home base and delivers 3 stunning indie dance tracks. 
We're opening up the EP with the title track COME WITH ME. A classy and touching piano chord construction builds the basic, slowly filtering up and down during the whole arrangement. Some jazzy vocal phrases and adlibs support the melodic parts. 
LONELINESS takes the more classic indie dance direction, heading on to lift off with a hammering 80s beat pattern, sweeping atmospheres, deep house synth stabs and a funky bass line underneath. This hazy, light dappled nu disco track will become, for sure, a secret night weapon in any whether indie dance but also deep house DJ sets.
The last slot on the EP is home to the track called NORMA JEAN. A buttery blend of percussion, Melody and warm chords, creating a relaxed mood to swing your hips. The track extends just close the 6 minute mark, giving you time to get into the mood and lose yourself on the dancefloor, just exactly as you should.
