Strange Brew (Instrumental Cover)

So I know as music lovers we're all supposed to love the Beach Boys Pet Sounds...but I have a confession:  I never really got it.  It always seemed a little dull, a little boring, and not very "groovy".  I know it's a technical masterpiece, but that doesn't always translate to being listenable...at least not for me.  Then I found this lesser known Beach Boys album called Smiley Smile.  It was the follow up to Pet Sounds and was supposed to be their "answer" to the Beatles Sgt. Pepper.  Widely panned by critics it was considered a flop.  It definitely feels lo-fi and unfinished, and it was, having been recorded in Brian Wilson's home with very few instruments.  But for me it's their best album for just those reasons.  Listening today you could think it was by some new hipster Brooklyn band.  Definitely ahead of it's time.  I heard it's claim to fame was that it was the go-to record to play for people having a bad LSD trip.  Anyway, this song is my homage to the song "Wind Chimes".  Hope you enjoy and as always, sorry so long!

Something about me:

Mena aka Anna Medve is born in Germany. Music has always been a passion of her because would be empty the life without music. 
She is not a professional DJ and starts late end of 2016 with the age of 62 as hobby. She plays only at home.
2013 she founds love for Progressive House Music, every kind of House Music, Techno but fallen in love to Trance. She listened on soundcloud as supporter to all kinds of music, on mixcloud and the internet radio Mixlr. 
At the end of 2016 she tried to put together sets by herself and used first only the software VDJ. 

She played on different Internet Radios guest sets like DI.FM on Oliver Planeix Minimal Madness, cuebase-fm, clubio.net, Future Beats Radio, Reykjavik Underground, Wamfm, most on Mixlr and since April 2020 as Resident Dj (Dj Mena) on www.futurebeatsradio.com 
At the end of 2023 Futurebeatsradio closes the Radio .

In early 2019 she tried to mix live on Mixlr and now it is her greatest passion to mix by herself. 
She loves special tracks and found her own style, loves and plays all genres of music. 
Her motto learning by doing with passion.
