This sound sample is a composition by Richard Devine (http://devsnd.blogspot.com/), recording artist and sound designer, using a single Waterphone recorded in multiple takes and arranged into a short song. Performance techniques included bowing with a cello bow. The signal path consists of Hummingbird in mono and stereo setups, connected to a Sound Devices 744T recorder with no effects or compression. Hummingbird is a versatile, small-diaphragm microphone that features a 180 degree rotating head and the acclaimed B1 capsule from Blue’s flagship Bottle. AtoM may already sound familiar because on July 17 of 2006, the Noisia Remix of AtoM and Cell "Pressure" was released on Darkitek DTEK001 and was rinsed by big players and hundreds of other DJs like Andy C, Ed Rush &amp; Optical and many more. After that big release he gets more focused in his productions and started working on collaborations with producers like: Identity, Cooh, Flame, Tenebra, Custom Soldierz, Diode, Zirash and Asphexia. As a Dj he has been sharing the stage with artists like Noisia, Aeph, Neonlight, Blokhe4d, Telekinesis, Optiv, Prolix, Hype, Hulk and Maztek . His sounds are supported from many artists such as Telekinesis, Neonlight, Optiv, Treo, Hulk, Zardonic and more. With a lot of hard work he released some of his songs on respected drum and bass labels like: Close 2 Death, Dangerous New Age, Abducted, Leet, Salvage, Darkitek, Tilt, and Respect Family.
