Summer Melody continues the Artist Collection series on the Collectives imprint, featuring past tracks and remixes from the talented Ukraine-based Dmitry Kostyuchenko!

Dmitry Kostyuchenko started his journey since 2015 with trance and later with melodic and progressive house. He joined Summer Melody back in 2019 and on the NuHouse sub-label since its establishment in 2022. His style spans from melodic and progressive, to organic, deep and club house sounds. This collection includes his first appearance with his remix of Adam Sein, and an array of past tracks on Summer Melody and NuHouse (which is the first compilation with music from the sub-label), such as Heavy Water, Praha, Aoraki, Retroville, Heartbeat and many more. This collection also includes an exclusive track by Dmitry himself, Be Yourself!

Lesh's "Light & Shade" EP explores the duality of human experience, capturing the interplay between light and darkness through expansive melodic progressions and deep, evolving atmospheres. This EP encapsulates the beauty of contrasts, where moments of brilliance rise against the backdrop of shadow, creating an emotive journey that blends uplifting euphoria with introspective depth. Each track is an invitation to explore the shifting balance between hope and mystery, offering listeners a sonic landscape that ebbs and flows, as delicate as it is dynamic.

The EP opener, "Waves of Sound", sets the stage with cascading synths that mimic the ebb and flow of the ocean. Rich, atmospheric layers wash over the listener, creating a sense of serenity over the grounding bassline and rhythm. As the waves of sound build and recede, so does the sense of light piercing through moments of darkness, offering both warmth and space for reflection. 

As a beautiful contrast to the opening track, "Shades of Dawn" encapsulates the stillness and gradual awakening of the world at daybreak. The track begins with a soft, introspective atmosphere, filled with subtle melodic nuances and evolving textures that evoke the first light of morning. “I'd like to share how I inspired me to create tracks and why Felicette.
Felicette is the first cat to visit space. Electrodes were implanted into her brain to control her condition during the flight. Upon her return, Felicette was taken to CERMA, where she was studied for two-three months.
Unfortunately, she was euthanized to continue her research. This story makes you wonder about the cost of scientific advancement, and how we treat animals in their quest for new knowledge.
I wish her name was never forgotten first release will be dedicated to her
