Mav666 has taken the Irish dance scene by storm in recent years. Having played countless headline shows across the country, supporting the likes of TRYM, Tommy Holohan, I Hate Models, SPFDJ, Chlär, and Wallis. Accompanying this with a slew of festival appearances that include TIME4DANCE, Life Festival, and Fuinneamh Festival, there is absolutely no doubt that Mav666 is one of the most thrilling DJs Ireland has to offer right now. In doing so, she does a fantastic job at showcasing her impeccable DJ skills and incredible understanding of the realm of techno.

With some solid shows lined up including her b2b headline show with Derv at Cellar this Friday, performing at the blk. weekender on St. Patrick’s Day in Belfast with Flores as well as making her Scottish debut in SWG3 on the 11th of March with Shannen Blessing. It’s safe to say that Mav666 is in for a massive year and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for her.

Joining us on yet another track premiere we introduce “OBELUS”. OBELUS is DJ/Producer who is based in Mayo/Dublin. We are greeted today with a hardgroove track that is best described as a Next gen groove and dreamy synth’s. OBELUS is well known back in Westport with hosting events and secret raves for the raving community, all of which went incredibly well. Working from Dublin he has came across the likes of Thomas Killmurry aka “OFFTRACK”  with his label “RLSD Records “where he developed great skills regarding Mixing and Producing.  OBELUS has released tracks MOTZ Berlin and we are more than happy to welcome this great talent to our series.

His obsession with the 90s style of techno led him to his irresistible sound that is inherently tribal techno through and through. A combination of oldschool inspired grooves and the use of vocal-driven samples, 'The Swing ' EP perfectly showcases his unique ear for funky dance music.

Oldschool groove techno combined with playful dub and jazz elements brings us back to the spirit of the 90s and 00s. When you pay a visit to the socials of the next artist joining our release catalog, you’ll stumble upon a phrase that says “Infusing hope and nostalgia into Disco and Techno”. TWO-STEP, a talented Scottish producer duo, is the newest addition to the RYS line-up - and we can fully agree that the mentioned expression perfectly describes their debut appearance on our label.

“Racing Thru Life” is a release that is pushing us into the more deep and eclectic side of our techno spectrum. Lots of dub-infused sounds, deep and euphoric stabs, creative vocal chops, and tight drums together create a perfect atmosphere for a nostalgia-driven groove. On top of five original tracks, we also added a remix from Lysander who made a strong and more percussive version, with a nice flip on the original melody, of "U Gotta" track.
