Slight re-edit of the Paradise Garage classic, Padlock, by Gwen Guthrie (aka First Lady of the Paradise Garage), with Sly & Robbie on the production and Larry Levan assisting in the mix.

A bit of slicing, some rearranging, extending, playing around with some slight overdubbing and some slight added percussion, is what's here. This is one of those tracks that I started and thought, "no, i shouldn't touch it" and then I left it alone. I just came back to it again and decided I'd finish what I'd started and upload it, if for no other reason than someone might discover this amazing tune for the first time. 

As always, if you enjoy the tune, do yourself and the artist a favor and buy their music! This whole Mini LP is phenomenal and belongs in everyone's collection!
