A painter representing the Taisho Romantic era, whose paintings of beautiful women were all the rage.
He was a representative painter of the Taisho Romantic era, and was sometimes called the ``Taisho Ukiyo-e artist.''

This song started when Xian and Holger came up with the rhythm section. Xian reached out to Josh about adding some guitar and keys. Josh happily accepted and added some electric guitar, organ, and synth. Once he was done, he sent it back to Xian, who added his excellent vocals. Tez also added some subtle, yet thrilling psychedelic guitar to it, too, before producing and mixing it for us. 
 During a little odyssey Xian recently undertook, he came across this snippet of text, from which the lyrics were drawn, in the Museum of Literature in Dublin. It's from "Ulysses" (1923) by James Joyce (1882-1941) and he liked it immediately. The passage can be found in the episode "Cyclops", in which the novel's hero, Bloom, opposes division and prejudice.
 This is the first time Xian has collaborated with Josh and Tez, but we hope it won't be the last. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

This song was written by Steve on the acoustic guitar. He passed it along to Ken, who added a sturdy rhythm guitar, as well as his always solid, dynamic drums to it. In short order, Ken got the rest of the Eclectic Collective together on it, starting with Josh, who added his five string fretless bass to complete the rhythm section. Next up was JJ, who's keys, both organ and piano, can be heard livening the whole thing up. Then came Tez with his fiery ripping guitar fills. 

  We were all blown away, though, when Stephen added his equally ripping guitar fills as responses to Tez's parts. It really sounds like the two maestros are having a conversation. Not to be outdone, Chris sprinked some of his magical guitar to fill in the spaces, mostly at the beginning. 

  Of course, we needed a competent producer to pull the whole thing together for us, especially with all the different voices in the stew. That person was Stephen, who was able to wrangle all of us and make it sound coherent, like the expert producer he is. 

  We all really enjoy working on Steve's songs, although it's been a few months since we did one together.  It's been proven many times before that if,you start out with something good, you end up with some thing great. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

This song is a collaboration with Robec The Genius, it's an old jazz song that I co-wrote a while back, Robec wrote new lyrics for it and sang it beautifully. I thought it sounded great, Robec added a very smooth vocal and changed the melody so now we have a new song. Galileo's telescopic observation of the moons of Jupiter orbiting the planet  was a black swan moment for the Church's earth centred view of the universe. As ever those whose long held beliefs were challenged by the facts did not react well. Plus ca change.
