When my hands were growing in my mother's womb
my fingers were tied together 
by some living tissue.
Then came apoptosis and they were set free.
Now I can use those fingers to play piano keys,
and feel the joys of music.
It's a lucky thing that all my cells are mortal,
so that my human shape could be 
exquisitely carved.
I know this fragile shape is bound to die, 
but that's the price of being.

This is a song that Steve wrote, and has released on his page. He sings it brilliantly, and plays guitar, too. He sent it to Josh to work on with him. Josh added the bass, strings, and organ. But it needed drums. And luckily he knows a great drummer named Ken, who added exactly what it needed. Then we sent it to Tez for a bit of his production and mixing wizardry. It's a totally different sound than we're all used to, but it was a lot of fun to put together. We hope you enjoy it, too.
