This is a song that was written by the very talented Artur (Surfers Like Us), who is a surf rock master, and delivered to us in the form of a guitar track. I enjoyed adding the psychedelic, yet foundational four string fretless bass. Ken (K2 and the Three and K2 and the Four) boosted the energy level of the song when he blew our minds with his driving drums. JJ (J.J. Terrell) added the wild, dynamic organ you hear throughout. Tez (Llanpsych) brought lightning down from the sky in the solo over the third section. And last, but certainly not least, Stephen (TexMex Shaman) laid down the mind-bending guitar solos over the first two sections. He also produced and mixed it, with a little help from Ken. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as our Eclectic Collective enjoyed making it.

A Time Race (Surfers Like Us with Eclectic Collective)

I had three songs I was making in Reason Compact, then I realised they were all part of the same song. The first was inspired by painting the words in notes: "The Cat Will Meow" (which ended up in the middle section), the second inspired by a cat meme about a neighbour's cat meowing at the door (with the notes starting at 0:50), and the third with notes inspired by the Ol Long Johnson autotuned meowing (around 2:55). I combined all the songs into one very silly synth pop tune that I call "The Cats Will Meow: お寿司ください！" (meowing for sushi)

This one was fun to make~ hope you enjoy my custom-made meow-synth, also used in my 1st Cat Song "Too Many Cats".

Terry sent this one over a while ago and it sat there in my inbox a bit because , and he had warned me haha, that it was a crazy one.  I probably sat down 4 or 5 times with the intent of putting something down but just couldn't grab it.  Finally I took the cue from his vibe and put in some glitchy wonky lines and I wasn't all too proud of them haha,

But then...I sent him the stems and he actually produced and mixed it into something cool so thanks to Terry for that.  He heard the potential and had a vision for this and was able to realize it. It's amazing some of the talent here on SC

This track is a collaboration with Masha @masha-solo the vocalist of Archmage Band @archmageband2 After creating a section arranged by her for the instrumental, I continued with other sections, and after completing the instrumental, she added the vocal melody to finish it.
