The celebration of the Autumnal Equinox, Harvest Home, Mabon, the Feast of the Ingathering, is a modern Pagan ritual of thanksgiving for the fruits of the earth and a recognition of the need to share them to secure the blessings of the Goddess and the God during the coming winter months. The name Mabon was coined by Aidan Kelly around 1970 as a reference to Mabon ap Modron, a character from Welsh mythology. This song started as a jam session between me and Nahlej creating a nu metal sound by mixing hip hop, alternative with metal. Simon added further guitar licks and a solo. Our working title "Heavy Jam" inspired StevieJ to rap lyrics about drug abuse due to low self esteem and mental health issues. All thoughts running through the narrator's mind mind created a sticky heavy jam. Instead of tackling the issues, he prefers to numb the pain with meds and weed. This doesn't solve any problems, so better not try! 
Starting with a guitar theme, I could never have guessed the heaviness of the instrumental and lyrics both. Thanks for your collab, I am very pleased with the result!

The artwork has been generated with DALL E 2, but I invested some work cleaning it up and adding details with a graphics tablet.

Other Locations was originally released in 1996 on the German record label Broken Seal. It was the first CD release from Blink Twice and the label's second release.
At the time there was a zine culture in electronic music, where artists would send their cassettes through the mail to different underground music zines for review across the globe. It was really the only way to get one's music heard.
After putting out numerous cassettes in the early to mid 1990s, Blink Twice had earned a reputation as a unique dark ambient artist in America.

It includes a large selection of bonus material from the era (1993-1996) that was either never released or only available on cassette.

Hidden as the last track is an epic nearly 15 minute tribal ambient excursion that can only be described as Dead Can Dance era Spiritchaser" (1996) meets Delerium era "Spheres I"(1994)

It is an essential historic document for followers of Mood Exhibit, as well as any fan of dark ambient/neoclassical/tribal/cinematic sounds.
