Hedo Hydr8 delivers their uncompromising sophomore EP on Affected. Sometimes It's Hard is packed with modern, hardcore rave aesthetics and revisited oldschool sound design. 
Hedo Hydr8 themselves describe the EP as ‘body music to release your pent up energy’. They add: “We wanted to make club music that liberates itself from hierarchies and conventions in order to liberate the body — freeing its pent-up emotions.”
Hedo Hydr8’s sonics draw on a multitude of genres inside and outside of the rave environment, encompassing punishing beats, mind-altering sounds and beautiful moments of intense tranquillity.

This mixtape mysteriously leaked into our inbox without any identifiable sender. It makes us wonder: Could Birdy himself be behind this, working covertly to share DJ Relax's music IRL? Cold, frenetic and packed with twists and turns, ECLIPSE captures TCV in playful form. Berlin-born and bred, the professional guitarist and producer paints soundscapes primed for synesthesia: one moment cosmically rearranging the planets, the other capturing a neuronal scramble for dopamine. It’s music that’s angular like a sharp corner in Wipeout and emotionally ambiguous like a cyber tribal tattoo.
