Drawing inspiration from sounds of the 70s discotheque, this selector keeps people moving with mixes of Disco, Old School House, and an eclectic selection of Vocal and Dance tunes. Influenced by 90s music from New York and Chicago, MiNNA combines her joy and curiosity of music & dancing by finding new tracks and digging through old records, which she began doing from the age of 12. 

"For this mix I wanted to open up with a few Disco gems then head to some more Housey flavours, as well as dipping into some Vocal and Garage House I’ve found digging recently. Currently I’m really into proper Old-school 90s House and wanted to play some tracks I love from some iconic labels such as Madhouse Records, Soulfuric, Z Records and BPM King St. Sounds. Jurassic 5 Tribute Mix

My first, 102 bpm, mellow, happy daze, ambient, chill out mix. Very enjoyable putting the mix together. Usual challenges/patience and hard work but also loved experimenting with tunes that work just as well at 102 rather than their usual 126/128 bpm. Classics like 'God is a DJ' and the line 'This is my church' worked so well at 102. (Whole mix inspired by Carl Cox - lockdown - Sunday 'Vinyl Sessions' as he has been mixing all genres and styles every week).
