For our next edition of the Unchained Mix Series, we have Washington DC-bred and France-based Kat Dudinsky aka Nvrsoft, back with us after three years with a pulsating hour-long mix that features some of her upcoming music along with a bunch of tunes from our latest 'Year Of The Rabbit' LP.

"This mix was really fun- I wanted to honor Unchained’s diversity by going a bit out of my usual DnB box, myself. So about 15 minutes of the mix is multigenre. I tried to highlight some of my favorite tunes from Unchained, my own forthcoming/ tunes and dubs, and other tunes I’m really feeling at the moment.

Metalheadz Podcast 50 - Need For Mirrors

If there was one thing we'd level at the drum & bass producer Xtrah, its that he fully comprehends the measure of precision and grit necessary to succeed in his chosen field. As this short mixtape, which was made ahead of his appearance in the Metalheadz Platinum hosted Room Three next week (Friday 27th February) shows, he's really struck a balance between the intricacies of those tunes hell bent on oodles of ghost snares and subtlety and the pomp and drive of the more tear out ready, mid range rollers. Honestly he's long been a guy whose tunes have sent computers in our Farringdon HQ into fits of frenzied Skype IMs, but there's something so short and sweet and yet so measured and exciting about the types of tunes he's included in this mix that makes us ache for the club doors to be open.

We wanted to share it with you this Friday lunchtime, in the hope that it'll inspire the same sort of thing in you this weekend.

About Frame 

Frame is an electronic music producer and dj from Trento, Italy.He has always been in love with bass music, making his first steps by mixing vinyls, then becoming interested in the world of electronic production by attending the CDM School. In 2015 he made his first release on Singularity Audio with "Bad Money EP" and later with "Intense EP". In the same year, producer and master Luca Fronza performs a remix to his song Djungle ft. MC Koflah. After this two minimal roller EPs he released for Tesseract Recordings, Auraya Recordings and Delta9 Recordings.
Always looking for more funk and innovative sound, some of his unpublished tracks were played on RinseFM in the weekly showcase of the UK label Diffrent by artists such as Dexta, Mauoq, Sense MC.
In July Frame releases an halftempo / footwork EP, called "Natural Sound", on The Dreamers Recordings received support from artist like Doc Scott, Bachelors of Science, Random Movement, Muffler, Silence Groove, Conduct, GLXY, Chromatic,.. Furthermore he receives support from artist like Jon1st, Conduct, Dexta, Neve and Mauoq.

Last remaining active founder of the Viennese DNB Scene, started DJing and promoting Jungle / Drum and Bass in Vienna 1998 celebrating his 27th anniversary this year.
Together with the Synergetic Crew, they launched Vienna´s first regular weekly dnb clubnights at Kunstwerk, Jungle Fever attracted many people due to it´s unique style and the effort put into every detail.
The year 2000 saw the first Vienna Drum and Bass Festival, which from then on, was held once a year and invited all the crews in Vienna for a special showdown and representation of how versatile and big the scene had already grown. 
Synergetic´s move to the Arena in 2001 when the Kunstwerk had to close down, opened a huge space for up to 3000 junglist ravers once a month.
AudioDevice is still very active even after those many years. His style, based on his musicality, having had classical education and being a drummer, was always coming from a more soulful approach, but combining this with the deep, dark and heavier side, gave him a unique performance, always with tight and energetic mixing as drummers do it best.
Finding a new home with the Contrast Crew at the mighty Grelle Forelle, where he is working as Sound Chief, AudioDevice is now co- promoting the music he loves most on the soundsystem that fits perfect and is tuned with fine ears.
