For the CCPAR it is a great honor to have Luke as our guest as we have a great respect and admiration for his strength in pushing the boundaries over the years from the uk rave scene to establishing himself as one of the first mainstream 'hardcore techno' dj's in the UK.

With numerous releases and performances, Luke has done an amazing contribution and has had an inspiring influence within the hardcore movement across the globe, making his music style and crowd as diverse as it can get. Hallo Leute,

[GER.]
nach einiger verstrichener Zeit, kommt nun das ursprünglich für Silvester geplante Set, auch endlich online.

Das Set habe ich zu Hause neu aufgenommen mit Laptop(noch Windows) - Traktor Pro 2, zwei Pioneer NXS 900 CDJS, DJM 750 K und einem Traktor Kontrol X1. Ich hatte mir als Ansatz des Ganzen, eine Vorgabe von 60 Min. gesetzt, um das Set fertigzubekommen. Nach ein bis zwei Versuchen, wurde dann schon klar, dass sich dahinter ein Prozess, der sich im Laufe der Zeit und Erfahrung speziell auf die Vielfältigkeit und Möglichkeiten in diesem Genre, noch einiges ergeben wird, was die persönliche Optimierung betrifft.

Somit ist der Mix eine Zusammenstellung, einiger meiner favorisierten Tracks, die ich auf 4 Decks, versuche etwas miteinander zu verbinden, um coolen Sound draus zu erzeugen. Es sind natürlich Stellen vorhanden, wo evtl. nicht alles nach Vorstellung lief, aber Hören kann man es trotzdem gut. Es ist schließlich auch das erste DNB Set, dass ich in diesem Umfang so gemixt habe, ohne 100% Vertrauen und Kenntnis in die Tracks zu haben. Somit besteht noch ordentlich Luft nach oben. :)

Nachschub ist auch schon in Arbeit und ich hoffe in Zukunft, so viel Zeit wie möglich, in die Musik stecken zu können.

I‘ve mixed this set at home with Traktor Pro 2, two Pioneer NXS 900 CDJS, DJM 750 K and a Traktor Kontrol X1. First it was planned to put all these Tracks into an one Hour set but this wasn‘t possible cause this is my very first experience with this Type of Music at the Decks, so this is more a collection of personal favor Tracks that i have tried to combine with 4 Decks. There are some parts where you say it is rather a bit too much of playing around but the whole is based on me on exercise and development for feeling the matter of DNB. I want to spend all me free time in the future to gain more experience in that Genre.
