My quick take on the recent remix contest by Jimmy The Sound on his new label HB records. The track is called XTC. 

Since I want to step up my producing game this year, I better share some with you guys ;)

I made it into an early classic hardstyle track (new subgenre, haha)

Summer is here and so is my new showcase mix! Please check out this new one of the awesome classic hardstyle producer SILVER NIKAN! 
He made his mark from the years 2008 and upwards. This mix mostly focuses on the first 3 years aka the NUSTYLE era. Meaning lots of triplet melodies which I'm a sucker for!
His first releases were on labels like the Italian KATTIVA records where ACTIVATOR was A&R manager at the time. Somehow you can here his touch on these tracks. Double awesome!

BTW, this guy is a true melody master! I just love the vibes in his tracks. Some akin to the likes of JOSH & WESZ. So if you like them, then surely check this showcase out!

I'm building an archive of all my favorite tracks. Especially honoring and showcasing the forgotten gems produced by my favorite artists!

BIO:
I started listening to hard dance music in 1999, at the age of 12, the year I went to high school. My taste was pretty random in those early days. But soon the Bitte Ein Beat series would change all that. After purchasing vol.2 and listening it over and over, I knew I had found a new passion in life!

Back then, the term hardstyle wasn't even conceived. We called it hardhouse at first, but that actually never felt right. Luckily someone, somewhere, came up with the name for this new sound: HARDSTYLE! And it felt right immediately.
