House music legend David Morales has released his latest single, a cover of the iconic 80s hit 'Ain't Nobody' by Chaka Khan. David's take on 'Ain't Nobody' is fresh, sexy and ultimately explosive. The cover brings in a neat house beat in the signature style of David combined with colourful harmony and crisp orchestrations - you have vibrant string parts, funky synths, joyful horns and a bass-line that's just as groovy as it gets. 

As for the vocals, David's twist on this classic features the mesmerising voice of London-based RnB's singer Romina Johnson (the singer behind 2000's worldwide garage hit 'Movin' Too Fast' by Artful Dodger, among other works). We think the first ZR release of 2019 is a biggie. Brand new Joey Negro mixes of Bobby D’Ambrosio’s version of ‘Moment of My Life’. JN takes the song back to its original Inner Life disco boogie roots with live percussion, bass, guitar along with real hammond, piano and fender rhodes. 

The epic 10 minute ‘Closer To The Source Mix’ features the full song including Michele Weeks superb vocals over that classic piano riff, complete with jazzy finale. While the ‘Dub Re-Organisation’ starts off with a long building hammond solo before dropping into heavily verbed percussion and echoing vocals leaving the piano for the final third of the mix.  A sure fire floor filler and perfect for this disco moment of your life.

Otto Knows - Million Voices

On February 2nd, dance music titan Eric Prydz returned to the hallowed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix decks, taking control of the airwaves for two hours of forward-thinking electronic music. This marked Prydz’ return to the Essential Mix show for the first time since late 2011, when it was recorded live from his set at Creamfields. The reaction to the show on Saturday was so big that it got the Essential Mix trending on Twitter on both sides of the Atlantic while it was being aired.
