we took over the Premier Etage at Space in Ibiza twice over the summer for Carl Cox’s Revolution party, where we got to play 5 hours, all night.

The Premier Etage, in case you’re wondering, is the open air room upstairs from the main room with the circular tubes you can sit in. It’s a great place to take a break from the main rooms, but due it being open air they have serious noise restrictions.

From a DJ perspective it makes it a very interesting room to play, because you have to really think about records to fit the room. Our sets are often quite sub bass driven, putting the soundsystem through its paces, but anything like that won’t work here, so we had to be extra selective.

We recorded the one on 16th September… Carl Cox, Ben Klock, Josh Wink, KiNK and Ben Sims were playing in the main rooms that night, awesome line up but heavy! So we wanted to provide an alternative soundtrack, and playing all night gave us chance to dig out lots of our favourite records that we might not normally get the chance to play.

So from Space, Ibiza on Tuesday 16th September. Enjoy…
