In 2014 Inkription sound system had planned to link up with various crews for Anti-Valentek. A couple days before the party we were told by Reqium Soundsystem that they had been promoting the party over baitbook and that it would be a bad idea to go through with it so  we then pulled out... A day before the party we received this voicemail from a member of Crank sounds ahaha .... We loved this so had it recorded and sent to Henry Baitman Swell and he came out with this naughty little number..! ENJOY

Review:
He's our selecta, he's your selecta, he's My Selecta and he's clearly been deep in the lab working on his craft as this is the first outing we've heard from the young northerner in over a year now. The wait has been worth it; upping the tempo from his signature breaks to gully jungle climes, each cut shatters and batters in true DITJ style: "Get Up" is all about skitty drums and dizzying intense feels the best peak time jungle jams create, "It's On You" takes us deeper down the tunnels with a cleverly manipulated vocal sample and booming subs, "Run" is all about the aggy kick drum patterns and iced out ravey pads while "Hold On" closes the show with a gritty bassline brawl that nods respectfully to the tones and textures of the foundation Headz releases. Fire in the hole!

The Ghetto Dub crew continue their fast and furious release schedule with even more bangers on this, the 3rd in the series of Rugged Riddemz. Kicking off the proceedings with man of the moment Conrad Subs, offering up 'Habitat', his first original track for Ghetto Dub, getting everyone ready for his Debut 5-track EP which is next in the queue! The Rudeboy DJ Direkt returns with 'Absorb', hot on the heels of his recent DefStar EP and the first artist to be featured on Rugged Riddemz twice. Ghetto Dub veteran X-E-Dos delivers a phat slice of his usual sonic madness. A real high energy drum workout with his trademark reese filthyness. Rising star DJ QT delivers what we feel is his best tune to date. 'Dis A Dubplate' was sent to Vinyl Junkie and QT asked if he would like to colab with him on the track. Junkie replied saying that he didnt think he could improve the tune which sounded as if it was already finished. So he declined the offer of a colab and snapped QT's arm off to sign it. 

Last, but by no means least, Ghetto Dub are proud to introduce you to a brand new artist releasing his first track ever! The massively talented A-K-A who will be returning to Ghetto Dub later in the year with his own EP... But until then feast your ears on 'Dubtime'.
