We're back with a fantastic edit from @user-84053657 that should keep the summer toes moving. 

"Ah Ya Albi" is a song originally performed by Egyptian singer Hakim. The song, which translates to "Oh My Heart", is a popular Arabic song known for its energetic and emotional style. This song is the best manifestation of the period when Arabic folk (known as shaabi) expressing itself through contemporary sounds. 

Hakim, often called "The Lion of Shaabi," played a key role in popularizing this genre globally, infusing it with contemporary beats while keeping its roots in Egyptian street culture. "Ah Ya Albi" stands out for its catchy melody, powerful vocals, and the raw, heartfelt expression typical of shaabi music.

In her own words....

I chose this track because I have always been captivated by the vibrant and mystical sounds of Middle Eastern music. As a DJ, I often perform at parties dedicated to Middle Eastern electronic rhythms, one of which is held in Russia, in Orenburg, called Chastota 528. This track beautifully embodies the rich colors and soulful melodies of the East. When I first heard it, I was instantly inspired and felt a deep desire to transform it into an electronic version that would capture its essence and bring its magic to life on the dance floor.

Bristish duo Hollaphonic have been enjoying quite the success with their recently released garage tune, “Surrounded by Bass.” Scott Forshaw was invited on to remix the bit, for obvious reasons. He doesn’t take any shortcuts on his take, adding some serious weight to the UKG-tinted tune. Shuffling drums push things right along until horror-torn vocals are cornered by a gang of clunking stabs and bobbing basslines.
