Phantom Regiment is an interdimensional project of Delta Funktionen and Damian Keane, both with their roots in the electronic underground scene. The collaboration started in 2008 with a track called 'Standing at the Edge of Time' released on Concern Records, which has now been fully remastered. This was followed soon by a successful EP on Dynamic Reflection. What remained is a large number of inspiring tracks that are still unpublished to date. Audiosculpture is pleased to present the new series, called 'The Gloppe Extract 1'.

The Solar Return

For our Sfera Celeste Project we have chosen, unlike with our Audiosculpture techno sets using vinyl, to go for a more futuristic setup. It is not our goal though to keep using the latest technological equipment. However, aiming to mix the many different electronical styles from the past, present and future calls for focusing on not only the big differences in tempo but also on melody. Combining all these into one sound was a huge challenge for us. All of this has resulted in a unique workable live setup.

Our spider in the web is Ableton Live which is installed on a MacBook. This is controlled by TouchAble on an iPad and a UC33 by Evolution. Trying out this setup in the studio has resulted in a piece with the working title: The Solar Return. We thought it would be nice to share this first production with you all. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did while mixing this: a sound similar to our productions on Visitors Records, layer upon layer upon layer. A blend of electro, disco and techno into one. Something you can expect when you experiencing a Sfera Celeste Project liveset.

System Revival ’s project was born (prematurely) in the second half of 2020 with 2 emergency charity compilations aiming to raise funds for relief efforts in Beirut after the port explosion in August. 

The label plans to continue curating such charity compilations for various causes quarterly in 2021

next one to be released on March 4th via Bandcamp called 'Zero Hunger' raising funds for the World Food Programme. And to follow, will come another one in June.

''We aim to identify the need to pursue a better future for ourselves (as people) and our environment (as our planet). Bringing people together through art & music is something extremely positive and helping the people in need is essential, to stay grounded and not take things for granted.''

As a music platform, we feel like it’s our duty to both discover and maintain all corners of the techno spectrum within our values. This time SALON hosts a renowned duo that continuously develops and innovates their sound and vision. 

Abstract Division provided us with a strong set that reaches from deeper atmospheres to aggressive club sounds. The set is an energetic experience that takes us back to the dance floor.

Abstract Division is a duo formed by Paul Boex and Dave Miller. They have numerous releases on labels like FIGURE, Semantica, and of course their own label, Dynamic Reflection. The releases on Dynamic Reflection are mainly dancefloor-oriented, but still very fresh and renewing. Every release embodies the artists' own character, but at the same time, it fits into the overarching image that Dynamic Reflection stands for. On top of that they recently set up a new merchandise line and the duo will release a new EP in the near future. Also, Dave recently ‘revived’ the label Audiosculpture with his co-founders.

If this all isn’t enough, the duo also has their own club concept called DECODE. With this concept, they organize label nights in which they also manage to incorporate upcoming artists. A perfect match for the straight-up Techno enthusiast.

For now though, please enjoy the set as much as we do!
