Written in collaboration with his Indigenous brothers. Recording didge, clap-sticks, animal mimicry and vocals. Showing the power and potency of this ancient land and culture.
This fusion of psychedelic sounds and Indigenous elements pays homage to the traditional ways of life in Australia.
It's an honor to be able to bring this music to the world. We are eternally grateful to Coedie McCarthy, Jannali Doncaster and Kiaron Assan for sharing their culture, recordings and artwork with Crooks for this incredibly special release...This is the sound of Australia.

This track was born from a deep emotional connection to a piece that defined my youth. Baz Luhrmann’s Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen) wasn’t just a song — it was a soundtrack to growing up. Its spoken-word message, filled with timeless truths like “dance like no one’s watching”, "enjoy your body",  shaped the way I see life, music, and authenticity. With this track, I wanted to bring that spirit into a modern trance setting — to give the message a pulse that moves both heart and body. I finally decided to record myself some guitars, although I was never a big fan of guitars in the Psy-Trance scene but it is my instrument since the beginning, so I tried something different, hope you guys liked.

Josh Balsdon aka AudioSpazm has been producing music from a young age of 15, 2010. After first attempting to creating his sound, he hit the Australian outdoor festival scene in 2011. His main influences on his music comes from Australian doof & Psychedelic party culture, as well Australian Progressive Trance legends like Sensient, One Tasty Morsel, Tetrameth & Shadow Fx just to name a few...
His genre of music would be best described as home grown Australian Bush trance, With its Deep groovy Basslines, Intelligent and melodic synthesis, Jungle / Tribal inspired percussion and Eerie Atmosphere, It is the perfect balance between light and dark, Just like the Far Northern Australian bush.
