Introducing RUST, a new musical project led by Adi Shankara. Hailing from the depths of La Defense (Paris), RUST is a project aimed at pushing Dub to its darkest limits. Through these four high-pressure tracks, this Vol.1 will delve you into a sci-fi, grimy dystopian universe.

RUST’s sound is a fusion of depraved dub and raw industrial techno elements, skillfully mixed with atmospheres laden with sounds inspired by those obscure tunnels that smell garbage, piss and carbonated concrete - where lonely and wandering souls stray like urban ghosts.

In this brutalistic dubtechno, skanks echo like the distant wails of tortured machines, snares reverberate like the clang of metal striking metal, and these raaaAAw basslines will catch you, pulling you along into the abysses of the city where the damned souls and machines are engaged in all sorts of orgies to celebrate the fusion of flesh and technology.

Tainted by the hatred of society and a violence too intense to be contained only in though, RUST is a discharge, a blast of sound that delves into this f-cking modern decadence, the one that drags us into chasms of hatred and perversion. In this radical and uncompromising project, only raw dark and introverted souls will find themselves. So, believe me, you’d better turning away than seek to uncover what lies behind theses layers of granular textures.
