Hailing from Birmingham Lysergene is no newcomer to UK Dubstep. After returning from a 10 year hiatus, he turned heads throughout 2024 with releases on WiddFam, Macabre Unit and Rewind 140, and we are pleased to present his debut LP on Iron Shirt recordings.

This album is an eclectic record with a constantly shifting energy and vibe, but has Deep and Dark running through it like a coal seam. Collaborative works with producers Squeeth and Prynox, explore the depths and intricacy of sound. A remix by ISR’s own L Nix seals the deal on this masterpiece of Dubsteppery.

Strasbourg’s 140bpm Alchemist Returns with a Deep Dive into Psychedelic Dub Realms.
For over a decade now, Strasbourg’s ADS1 has operated like a mythic figure in the French 140 bpm underground—part dubstep scholar, part bass sorcerer. Known for his meticulous sound design and an ear permanently tuned to the deepest corners of sound system culture, the DJ/producer has quietly built a reputation among connoisseurs of sub-heavy music. His new EP, a four-track release that feels as much like a short story collection as it does a club record, sees him both refining and subverting his own formula—drawing from hip-hop, Eastern instrumentation, and pure psychedelic experimentation.

Mr. Quint's latest EP, "Godfather," is a testament to creative passion. What began as a private commission evolved into a deeply personal project, as he felt an undeniable connection to the sound. The result is an experimental Dubstep EP where each track weaves its own unique narrative.
Adding another layer to this release, one of the tracks features a special collaboration with a close friend – an accomplished rapper and MC.

Mr. Quint, aka Carl Quint, is a 24-year-old Dubstep and Drum & Bass DJ and producer. Starting decks in 2017 and producing since 2019, his sound was deeply shaped by the mighty SUB.FM, where he hosted regular shows (all still on his SoundCloud!).
Musically, he spans from deep, minimal vibes to accessible, melodic compositions, always aiming for emotional resonance and packed dancefloors. He's driven to push Dubstep and Drum & Bass in Germany, drawing influence from artists like Alix Perez, Ourman, 11th Hour, and Roklem & Sebalo.
