The “Hang in Balance Remixes” release stems from the original creation, “Lisn”, by London’s eclectic composer, Daniel Waples and friends, aka “Hang in Balance”.  This release extends into full illumination by showcasing mind-boggling electronic remixes freshly created by seven innovative bass, experimental, and downtempo producers dispersed from the West Coast and Mid Coast of the U.S. nation:  DubCOliNG, Animatronix, Conscious Kalling, GRiDWORK, Jnana, Subaqueous, and NAs-ja.  Each auditory treasure withholds within itself its own story, emotion, and direction, all having aligning intentions that Daniel Waples too reveals - a universal peace connection through one’s own core entity.  These sonic experimentations reveal cutting-edge sound design, magnetizing bass lines, innovative composition, lustrous beats, textured rhythms, and immeasurable depth in a downtempo setting.  These pulsating sound triggers will flow seamlessly through your being and reveal a fresh new atmosphere of feeling.

Serpent Medicine bestows the power to transmute the self, to "shed the skin" of what no longer serves us and to fuse layers of our reality into wholeness.  Through the process of life we become fragmented, often letting parts of ourselves fall dormant as we deal with the necessities of survival.  When our "self" is fragmented, our power is fragmented and we may suffer from scattered thinking, lack of energy, poor timing or inability to move forward.  Even when the focus has been on spiritual grown or healing there are often aspects of the self which must be reintegrated to bring the whole self in alignment.   The mantra of the Serpent Medicine track here as vocalized by Amrita inspires movement to invoke your self to shed your skin and become whole again.

The healing power of the Mahamrityunjaya mantra is an a prayer to the ancient Hindu deities It is currently being chanted in the Satyananda ashrams and yoga centres throughout India and the world at the same time every week. People who are facing illness, obstacles, tragedy or crisis in their lives, and who cannot be physically present during the chanting, can give their names for inclusion in the chanting by phone or letter. Many people have been helped through difficult times in this way, even though they are not physically present, the power of the Mahamrityunjaya mantra is so great.

I could give you my background, but it wouldn't really tell you how it shaped me. I could show you photos, but you would just see my mask. I could tell you a story, but lyrical self expressions aren't my forte. You could ask my friends, but they'd give you their version of me. 

But if you were to just listen intently to some of the music I make, you'll hear my soul ripped intricately open for all to see....

David grew up surrounded by music (at least until he took his mother’s record player apart at the age of 6 to see how it worked). His favourite toys were those that made or recorded sound. One of his most loved being the Stylaphone, which he was given at the age of 4.
David began Djing at the age of 18, playing local events and clubs whenever the opportunity arose, often for free, solely for the enjoyment and satisfaction it gave him.

Whilst at University in Manchester, UK, David co formed and ran a successful club night for 3 years, playing to a loyal, continuously growing crowd every fortnight. Success in this arena lead to David securing many bookings at local clubs and events around the North West of England.

Through his love for Djing, David felt an increasing desire to create his own music, and explore the soundscapes that were building up in his mind.

The day that profoundly changed David’s life, and enabled him to realise his life long dream occurred by chance. A friend took him into the University music studio, briefly showed him how to turn the keyboards and equipment on, gave a ten minute lesson in the music production software on the computer, and left the room. 6 hours flew by, completely hooked, he had found the path he had been searching for since he was a child.

Ever since, every penny he shouldn’t have spent, every spare moment he has, goes on letting emotions flow through sound. 

David donates much of all royalties received from the sales of his music to good causes.
