Echoes of house of the rising sun in the musical backing. However, the vocal takes the sound in a quite different direction. Again, there's an echo of past lives but it's not an easy one to spot. At 1:41min the mood and the flow changes abruptly. The voice comes down into a lower range and the energy becomes stronger and clearer. Love the next move into a stretched out segment. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm listening to the refrain but it seems likely that I'm listening to someone who is moving around in his vocal style and accompaniment as the track moves along. It's all rather pleasant. The changes are fine, interesting even.
