I wrote Amygdala while living in Paris ​in autumn 2015​. The piece is a kind of exploration of the way in which anxiety comes in waves, aways lapping at the edges, and sometimes rising and overwhelming us.

Where to Find the Blankets is an EP meant for cozy season: a time of year when holiday cheer, soft blankets, and warm food are sometimes juxtaposed with loneliness, a chill you can't shake, and a bad taste in your mouth. Featuring the singer-songwriter's characteristic layering of lush string parts accompanied by Dave Brandwein's expert drumming, Audrey Q's third EP is a tribute to being cold and single in a Chicago winter.
