Please read before listening:

Today we would have celebrated Margot’s 25th birthday - but this day also means that we have been going 1 year and 8 months without her. Last year I made her a birthday mixtape, and I just felt like doing that again (although this time the result turned out to be a little longer; but why not right?) The concept has stayed exactly the same: there’s no real continuity and often I don’t even 'mix' at all. It’s a mixtape that consists of extremely varied and personal compositions. There are tracks we have listened to together, while most only came out after she passed away; but they have all helped me to cope with my loss in one way or another. I have found that playing music is the most efficient way to remain connected with her. I can still see her smile much easier when I’m listening to music. It’s in this way I’d like to remember her voice, her eyes and her kindness. Feel free to have a listen - to take a (3 hour) peek into the world we shared, and hopefully you can appreciate your loved ones in the same way we loved each other. Margot, I have moved on in the meantime, but I have never stopped thinking about you and I never will. Happy birthday liefje, I’m proud of you.
