"Lieber Feste feiern als feste arbeiten". Mit diesem Wunschtraum liefert uns Basti aka Sebastian Pedro (@sebastianpedro) aus dem fernen Süden der Republik seine Definition von deepen und durchaus tanzbaren Slothrythmen. Die Reise versucht den routinierten Alltag hinter sich zu lassen um alternative Wege zu gehen um bestenfalls ein Los- und Fallenlassen zu ermöglichen. Der gebürtige Münchner DJ versucht bereits seit einigen Jahren den Leuten seine Definition von elektronischer Tanzmusik zu vermitteln und organisiert dabei auch des Öfteren Veranstaltungen mit seinem Kollektiv Techno ist Familiensache. Wie der Name schon vermuten lässt ist er nicht nur in den langsamen Tönen beheimatet, sondern treibt sich auch gern zwischen Afro House und Melodic Techno rum. Doch Downtempo ist ebenso seine große Leidenschaft.

With this pipe dream, Basti aka Sebastian Pedro (@sebastianpedro) from the far south of Germany gives us his definition of deep and thoroughly danceable slot rhythms. The journey attempts to leave the routine of everyday life behind in order to explore alternative paths and, at best, to allow us to let go and let fall. The Munich-born DJ has been trying to convey his definition of electronic dance music to people for several years now and often organizes events with his collective Techno ist Familiensache. As the name suggests, he is not only at home in the slow sounds, but also likes to hang out between Afro House and Melodic Techno. But downtempo is also his great passion.

Enjoy the blend waters of minimale house & techno, with a downpitch signature, get cosy this winter time or any time of the year and let your mind enter an hypnotic state and perhaps get a feeling of feeling one through the vibration of the music.

This set is dedicated to Tåhlequåh, a female orca and mother who has been carrying her deceased calf for more than a week now.

Tåhlequåh previously made headlines in 2018 when she pushed the body of her calf around the Salish Sea for 17 days for over 1600km in a powerful act of grieving. This extraordinary journey highlights the profound emotional depth of orcas and has captivated the world's attention as a symbol of the endangered species' struggle for survival.

Scientists have noted that while orcas do show mourning behaviors, Tahlequah's prolonged journey with her 300-pound calf is an outlier. With only 73 Southern Resident orcas remaining, the loss of calves like hers has devastating implications for the species, which faces threats from dwindling prey and environmental hazards.
