🌪What book are you currently reading: 
(Zhart:) The choice - Dr. Edith Eger 
She tells her story of surviving Auschwitz and shares inspiring insights about resilience and the power of choice in our lives. She explores how we can be imprisoned within our own minds and shares tools to free yourself. Her path from being a victim to working as a psychotherapist is truly inspiring.

🌪How do you decide which songs to play during a performance? Is there a specific method or strategy you use?
(Rakäthe:) It of course depends on the time of the day and the occasion but I decide what resonates with me, I go for a specific feeling which can also change over time. I sometimes put the display of my laptop totally dark or close my eyes and skip through tracks without seeing any infos of a track. Shutting down my visual sense helps me to totally focus on what I’m hearing and feeling :)

🌪What hobby would you like to have or pursue? 
(Zhart:)I’d love to kitesurf. Cruising and jumping over waves by using the power of the wind seems super fun.

The day has finally come. I've been talking for a while about wanting to learn how to mix, but I never had the motivation to do it at home. Playing at Kiezburn (an event based on the principles of Burning Man) seemed like the perfect occasion for my first official set. I felt extremely stressed and anxious about this spontaneous decision, knowing I only had a handful days of practice. Despite my fears, I felt calm and confident from the very first track and absolutely loved the experience.

So here it is: I played the closing set on Friday night (2-4am) after Temple Tears on the beautiful Musotopia stage.

wie könnte ich etwas beschreiben, das mit worten nicht zu fassen ist? mein festivaldebüt, die schwerelosigkeit, das abtauchen. die liebe, mit der das @mitdirfestival gestaltet wurde. die lieben gesichter, die in scheinbar zufälligen mustern das festival erkundeten, um dann in völliger gleichmäßigkeit mit ihren körpern in den beat zu fallen. und ich mitten drin! wie ein rausch ist das wochenende an mir vorbeigezogen, von einem moment in den nächsten, wie ein daumenkino der realität. 

danke an @haanapeony und @laberg-music, die mich eingeladen haben zu spielen, an @user-919922607 und @lou-fo, die vor mir den floor zum beben gebracht haben, und an @femquency, die einfach eine richtig nice rave rikscha in diesen verwunschenen wald gestellt haben, mit der ich am liebsten ab sofort durch berlin düsen möchte, bitte.

This is my Utopia Opening of our 3000Grad Festival starting in the rain and heating up through the days. 
Thank you to my 3000Grad family for putting this together year for year. I never missed it since 2010 by the way. Great to grow old here together 🤓

Also thank you to everyone who came out in the rain to dance to my set. And also to the peeps joining the Speed-Dating with Amors Echo and Judith van Herzverbrannt and all the students, who came out for the Abiball 3024 with Andy Secco and Judith van Katerstrand, just to fail their exams again just like last year and last year and last year, so you have to come back next year, can’t help it ;)

Not much can beat the magic vibe of a festival sunday under sprinklers in the blazing sun. ´
We had the pleasure to play at a festival which was back in the days always a special part of the downtempo scene and since everything is going a bit faster these days, we found it just appropriate to dive back into the sounds we then fell in love with. 
Sharing this moment with our beloved friends was just the tip of the iceberg of an even more special festival day!
We are so grateful to everyone who shared this day with us, which we will remember for a long time to come.

Woaah, that was quiet intense! Thanks for all the people who danced with me through the rain, I really enjoyed this special closing at this lovely festival! 

Thanks to @sahrabass for writing and recording the lovely intro story for the set and the outro track (which we developed together for last years @bassaramusic gig - we hope to release that soon!). 

Lots of love to @iva-bodul for beeing such a good travel buddy, helping me when preparing my set, giving me feedback and drinks, dancing, laughing and everything <3!

When we arrived on sunday, it was all (still) a summer(nights) dream on the island and I enjoyed checking out all the places (and especially the funky float I should do the closing on on monday). As the weather forecasts seem to manifest on some heavy temperature drop and rain, I was a little bit nervous how that will work out with the setting on/by the water.
When I woke up on monday I read the message that my gig was moved to the Creatures Corner - which was in fact the best thing that could happen to me (so for that - thanks to the weather gods ;)). I really love that stage, the crew who build it, the soundsystem and the whole setting <3!
