Laying out work that has been widely garnered from a long soft chain of a long-awaited path with a different spatial dimension than before.The repetition expanded and went slightly further as the waves slowly covered in forms of collaborating. Dulcet voices threaten to disintegrate the pieces into upheaval and transmitt into the dynamic participation of mellifluous strims.

For this month’s epsiode of Voluminous Arts, host Gavilán Rayna Russom invites DJ, producer and artist quest?onmarq as her guest. For hour one quest?onmarq contributes ‘scrying for divine sines’ - "a meditation on contraction, expansion. austerity and excess. day and night. ever spiraling onward. waveform surfing toward greater realization of self via vibration.” For hour two Rayna shares “perspectives on ‘house’ as an ancestral healing technology”, a dance floor oriented mix of sounds that connect with the complex lineage of ‘house’ sounds while eschewing the whitened tropes that have become associated with the style as a genre within the European marketplace.

On Friday 7th October, Danish ambient artist Sofie Birch and Polish experimental singer Antonina Nowacka will release a collaborative album via Unsound and Mondoj. To celebrate they’ve now joined forces for an Unsound Podcast featuring some of their favourite music and influences, including Alice Coltrane, Enya, the soundtrack of Tarkovsky’s Andrei Rublev and a special rework of their morning performance at last year’s Unsound into a lush ambient meditation.
