This is a hymn inspired by Hebrews 4:14-16, Romans 8:26-30, and my experiences in life. 

This is an English version of 주 형상으로 빚어가시네, a song of praise composed and written by me. I sincerely express my gratitude to my dear brothers and sisters for encouraging me to sing this song of praise in English.

Thank you Lord Jesus for You are the One who can sympathize us in all of our weaknesses! Thank You Lord Jesus for You are praying and interceding for us always so that we may conform to Your glorious image! 


*Hebrews 4:14-16*
Having therefore a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast the confession.

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all respects like us, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help.

Hidden Behind Every Scene - SS & JMR

As we all find ourselves in this unfolding crisis, we can take heart in the Lord’s word. In John 14:1 the Lord said, "Do not let not your heart be troubled; believe into God, believe also into Me." Our human life and church life have been changed, but we must remember to always give the Lord the way to turn a situation like this to salvation. What we need during this time is to keep our eyes on the Lord so that He would strengthen our faith and we would be filled with peace. At the same time, we should remember the charge in Hebrews 10:25 to “not abandon our assembling together.” That is, we should not forsake the meeting life. During this time, we have many technologies that can still allow us to meet and connect virtually. We should consider one another so that no one would become isolated or shaken. We even have a way to meet virtually with other saints in different localities thanks to technology. We should use the extra time we now have to build up proper Christian habits—our personal time with the Lord, reading the Bible, and praying with others. Finally, we must take the proper precautions the authorities have given us, considering not only our own health but also that of others.

To those who feel hopeless, there is yet a "sunrising"  that we can hope!

1. We believers should follow the sunrising
Follow the sunrising to be revived,
And to have a new beginning,
A new beginning every morning;
Everyday we need a "sunrising"
And this is our revival.
We need to follow the sunrising—
Waiting for new beginning!

2. In the morning we enjoy Christ's shining,
Receiving His healing and enlivening (Mal 4:2)
If we love Him with our being,
We'll be like the sun in its rising! (Jdg 5:31)
Everyday we behold His shining,
And we'll be just like Him.
We need to follow the sunrising—
Yearning for His appearing!
