KLOPPO 
is our homage to Jürgen Klopp, ‘the Normal One’, 
and our genuine tribute to all Liverpool FC fans. 
Strolling along the streets of Madrid just before the Champions-League Final in 2019, 
the musician Mani Augustin Keller got taken away by the enthusiastic and overwhelming strong and cheery energy of the Liverpool fans and all the other soccer lovers having a real good time there, in the spanish capital. 
Inspired by their true enthusiasm, the respect and appreciation they all showed for Kloppo's performance, they proved that he is currently the absolut best football team manager in the world and yet Mr. Normal One. 
In the flow of these moments, Augustin interrupted his work on his upcoming studio album in Madrid to spontaneously assemble his band TARJETAS ROJAS for the first week in june19 at the famous Parrstreet Studios in Liverpool. 
What happened then over there in Liverpool was the dawning of KLOPPO. Back to work in Madrid Augustin & Tarjetas Rojas completed the song at the legendary Musigrama-Studio, owned by famous spanish producer Paco Ortega. Then Augustin went to Liverpool where het met George Sephton, the legendary ‘Voice of Anfield’, George likes the song, so he placed it on his high cult-factor Anfield Road - Playlist. Because the scousers and the LFC-Supporters liked the song, but didn’t like the bandname, Augustin did a relaunch, formed a new band in Liverpool, and did a Liverpool-Remix with the help of famous ‘Mr. Supercharge’ Albie Donnelly and well known Liverpool Musician Gerry Culligan. Then Augustin went to London, where he met Jon Astley, world famous mastering-artist, who gladly took over the mastering. This Version, “KLOPPO, the Liverpool Edit”, was released 2020.
After Augustin was repeatedly asked by fans in Liverpool that he looks and sounds like Klopp, and by chance he met Trevor Jones, a Klopp double, he decided to shoot the video in Liverpool with 3 other Klopp lookalikes . Another member of the Donnelly family, Warren Donnelly, well known actor/director in Liverpool, directed the shoot at the Glass Studio, where Alan Lewis did the postpro-edit as well. Another son of Albie Donnelly, Nathan Smith designed the gorgeous cover.
