After trying to make it in a thousand different ways with various different bands Alex came back to where it all started (and had been continuing under the radar for sometime) and decided to bring everything back under the 'AKA' banner.
"When we started it was about doing as many shows as possible and trying to make this band let us leave our jobs. We achieved that 5 years ago but the downside was that we found ourselves doing lots of shows but not growing - in the last 12 months we've tried to change that".
Now with a new EP (their first in over 5 years) and the experience of thousands of shows supporting acts as far reaching as 'Coldplay', 'Kings of Leon', 'Eliza Doolittle', 'The Guilemottes', 'Mr Hudson', 'The Twang', 'Findley Quay' and many more - AKA are ready to let you know what you've been missing... and then some...
