Steppers & Sleepers is back just in time for spring with our fifth release.

Without further ado, we present to you a stellar duo hailing from Switzerland by the name of https://soundcloud.com/pressure-mode.

These two talented producers caught our ears as solo artists first hand (https://soundcloud.com/gregorydub & https://soundcloud.com/safak-rarebeats) and as we dug deeper we learned that they also produced as a duo. Gregory and Safak have been friends for near on a decade and they are heavily inspired buy 4x4 house from way back when. The MPC200XL is there weapon of choice and these jazz collectors certainly have endeared themselves to us. Welcome..

On remix duty we present to you an artist we hold in high regard and one that is close to our hearts at Steppers & Sleepers, https://soundcloud.com/chris-wj. Formerly of Coventry (UK) and now Massachusetts, United States, https://soundcloud.com/chris-wj is somewhat of an enigma to his following.

He concerns himself with rhythm and delivery, thanks to exposure to a percussionists ideal at a young age. His discography is modest at best, but his armory of unreleased edits and productions is mighty. His roots are subliminally Erick Morillo and early Strictly Rhythm. https://soundcloud.com/chris-wj is very much apart of our DNA here at Steppers & Sleepers as he more than anyone else is largely responsible for effecting the early years of https://soundcloud.com/augustus_gloop as a mentor. A lot more to come from this talented producer and DJ.

For the second remix on the 'STS EP' we bring to you the Mainz based https://soundcloud.com/tilman. A soulful guy and a producers, producer. We have been waiting a while to have https://soundcloud.com/tilman affect us with his wizardry and he blesses us with a truly inspiring acid house take on the 'Beat MPC'. If you collect vinyl then you will know of his https://soundcloud.com/klamauk label founded in 2008 home to a string of impressionistic cuts. a producer very much in love with samples, synthesizers and drum machines and very much in our hearts.

Augustus Gloop embodies a certain strain of house and techno which can only be described as raw. His initial releases for Amsterdam based label Dorcas, made the likes of tINI and Shlomi Aber stand up and take notice of his ultra-deep and dubby uncompromising style.

This certainly translates into his DJ sets, but his obsession for collecting music affords him the versatility to read and adapt to any dance floor as he flirts with a wider range of house and techno. Given his obsessive nature for music it is know surprise that in the spring of 2013 he established his own label Steppers & Sleepers, a curious and wondrous extension of himself.
