An extended, unedited 90 minutes garage mix recorded in one take - apologies for a couple of wobbly transitions, I haven't played some of these tracks in YEARS. 

I mixed this for Rinse FM's Garage Hour show, but was having so much fun playing the classics and digging the crates for the less obvious tracks that I wanted to carry on a bit!

If you were a UK Garage DJ in the late 90's you'll hopefully appreciate this. These are the tracks many people forget about, and it was this darker side of the 2 step garage sound that stemmed genres like Grime and Dubstep in their early stages. 

A proper mix for the DJ's and heads alike to enjoy, and for the uneducated of you out there to get your ears around the kind of stuff I was playing in my very early days as a bedroom DJ.

With his first release, @dovble-v titles our 16th release as ‘Errant’ with 3 original tracks and two remixes by @cindyzimbabwe and @bmodular. 
The EP opens up with the first 3 erratic tracks, having a primitive feeling and (kinda)DJ-friendly structures as common features. Then, 2 powerful remixes of the first 2 tracks meant to be drawn -for instance- in the middle of a hectic night follows. With these 5 pieces teasing the instincts, the EP promises a lush listening session meant to be enjoyed loud.

#challengeaccepted: Alive is a project that aims at raising awareness to the increasing amount of violence that women+ face in different forms in their daily lives. In Turkey, more and more women+ are facing brutal forms of misogyny every day, facing harassment on a daily basis; rapes and femicides are being normalized by the current system and these kinds of violence are becoming a normal state where women feel themselves even more helpless under the law.

Just as many of the human activities, experiencing music is a shared form of action that has a strong cultural interest with the cultural background of the society one belongs to. As an expression and a manifestation, electronic music has a connecting as well as antithetical strength that mostly shade into a form of becoming one. In that regard we band together as artists from Turkey and from all over the world to break the silence. We are inviting everyone to stand in solidarity with women in their struggle.

100% of the collected funds will be donated to Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation.
