This is unbelievable! Not only is it a miracle what you (I mean: *you*) can do with that one sample (texture- and soundwise) but I really adore the soft gliding harmonies and slight dissonances. Words are lost...

Noise going through Make Noise QPAS filters, modulated by pink noise being sent through Maths. ValhallaDelay adds some oceanic ambience.

I will be brief, for now, on the creation of this piece.

I experimented with Paul Stretch and created five separate tracks from the original sample.

Each of these tracks were imported into Sonar.

An undoctored version of the sample was also imported into Sonar.

I also added three instances of Iris 2 in Sonar and used snippets of the original sample to create two pad sounds and a stab sound.


No effects were inserted into the track FX bins because I prefer to use busses and sends.

I therefore created separate busses for the following effects:-

Timeless 2
Breverb
Pro-R
Adaptiverb
MMultiBandGranular
Guitar Rig 5

I then used a load of automation on each track to send audio to the various FX busses.
